"A Day in the Country"

I met Penny at "A Day in the Country" for lunch today!
Her blog is
Lavender Hill Studio and she is a Mosaic artist. I've been following her blog and admiring her work and realized that we live in the same town!

Here she is modeling one of my latest creations......an apron!

We talked.....and talked......and talked some more!
We found out we had so much in common!

Thanks for a delightful lunch, Penny!

Let's do it again soon!

Hi Lavender Dreams,
I discovered your delightful blog from visiting Penny's Lavender Hill Studio. How fun to meet a fellow blogger - love the apron you made for Penny - she looks adorable wearing it.
I am a new blogger living in California and was born and raised in Wilmington, North Carolina. You and Penny live in a beautiful spot - all of North Carolina is beautiful. Have a lovely creative day. Erin

Hi,
So nice to meet you! Maybe if I get to go back to "A Day in the Country" again, you can meet us there as well! It's a great place, I would like to see more of your town too! I think Ro of AHintofHome.blogspot goes there often, you may want to meet her too. She lives in Greenville.

Thanks for your comment! Now I'm off to see your lovely blog!!
