Do you have your grocery list made out?

Did you forget anything?

Are you out of bluing?

Did you need some lard for that special recipe?

Matches....Gelatine.....Wax....Starch?

I love this old list but it's missing something at the bottom.
Does anyone know what went there originally?

And I wanted to show you the Tea Towels I bought for my sister at Tuesday Mornings.

Aren't they cute?

Oh, goodness me, I must put lard and wax on my list for today. And 10 pounds of sugar... I will need about 3 whole dollars for my order at the store today ;) ;)

Those were the days, I tell ya.... I wish I knew what went at the bottom too...

Adorable towels... ;) ;)

If my grocery list were that cute I would probably enjoy grocery shopping more. Sorry, I can't help you with what should have been on the bottom.
I was peeking at your cookbooks & noticed the one from Biltmore Estate. I have that one too ~ aren't the photos gorgeous?

How cute! I haven't heard anyone say "bluing" in such a long time! I remember my grandma using it.

How cute is that! I love the grocery list. Other than the specific items though...I have a pretty standard list too...pantry regulars etc. Thanks for coming by my cooking blog and commenting.

Oh I've never seen anything that cute or unique... What a wonderful way to keep track of lard, etc. :)

Yes, the tea towels are very nice. Your sister will love them.

I'm pretty sure it's where a pad of paper was for you to make your list out on. I absolutely love that. Wish I could find one. Twyla
