Where is Sunday?

I have these old tea towels but I don't have Sunday!

I wonder if I am not supposed to need a tea towel on Sunday....

or if there is a design I need to find to make one to complete my set!

Have a wonderful Sunday!
(and YES, I LOVE making collages! They are habit forming!)

Gosh, you might be correct - back in "the day" one just didn't work on Sunday, or shop either. That seems like 100 years ago....

Hope you can find a Sunday and the masonite hearts at Michael's. They also have crowns and other shapes. I bought a large oval one too. You'll have to stay tuned to see what I do with that! LOL! ;-)

Hi,

Maybe back then no one washed dishes on Sunday . . . although I doubt it. I have seen similar towels for every day of the week and will be on the look out for one for Sunday for you.
Keep making collages for us - they are so charming.
Have a wonderful week.
Blessings,
Erin

Great tea towel collection! Maybe there was no 'Sunday' for a reason...but I have a set of those tea towels in the cedar chest...and I'm thinking there is a Sunday as well.

Very cute! And I would just go with taking Sunday as a day off from dishwashing!

Oh those are cute, there probably is an old pattern for Sunday somewhere!
Or else God meant for us to rest and also not clean on Sunday, ha!

Sunday may be a day of rest, but then you would need to Monday towels, one to do Sunday dishes on Monday am and one to do Monday dishes pm.

These sure brought back memories. My mom embroidered them on flour sacking (I think that's what it was) and we always had several sets of them.

Yes, no chores on Sunday, but my guess is "Bear in Mind it's Sunday" has on it a little bear praying or going into a church.
