37 Days and 37 Quotes!

Well, anyone that knows me knows
that I get super excited when I start a project.

The book, "Life is a Verb" works with 37 days of exercises and assignments
but of course the first few days I will do more than 'one day'! heehee!

I would like to post quotes from this book every day for the next 30 days or so
and share some of the gems from this book!

Please let me know if you are reading it so that we can compare notes!

So far I am TOTALLY and completely impressed
and have high hopes for improving my 'everyday' life!

Just a few of the quotes from this remarkable book......

"Happiness is not something ready made.
It comes from your own actions.
_the Dalai Lama

We're fools whether we dance or not,
so we might as well dance.
_Japanese proverb

Anyone who keeps the ability to
see beauty never grows old.
_Franz Kafka

My favorite so far is this last quote about beauty.
I chose Beauty for my 'word' of the year!
I am trying to add beauty this year...that is my goal!

What is your goal?
We are about halfway through the year,
what would you like to accomplish?

Happy Wednesday!

What a great project! Thanks for sharing your interesting book! Love your chosen quotes. Your word of the year sounds perfect. I really like the meaning it represents.

Thanks so much for coming to visit! I had a great road trip. Hope you get to go on your road trip soon!

Hugs,
Lisa :)

The quotes are beautiful and so true. My favorite is the last one too. The first quote gently reminds me that I am responsible for my happiness , not my husband, family, or friends, just me!

I like the quote from the Dalai Lama. It's interesting that you ask what we would like to accomplish this year...About a year or so ago, I looked up people that I had taken issue with over dumb things back then, but that are meaningless now. I apologized to them and made all the wrongs right. It made them feel better and it made me feel better and we are back in each others lives. I think that books sounds great and everyone can learn a thing or two from it. hugs, Jennifer

Looks to be a wonderful book. I shall look for it. Great way to start the day.
My word for 2009 is Joy. In 2005 my word was beautiful! Once I choose a word it is forever in my mind!
En-joy today and all the beauty!

Okay! I am going to be here with you everyday soaking up all the inspiration I can. My goal this year (Lord, help me) would be to clear some room in my home to have a more tranquil space. Twyla
