Happy Father's Day!

I hope this day is extra special for all the fathers!

This is one of my favorite photos of my Daddy!

I am so happy sitting in his lap
and my cousin, Sue Carol is in the photo, too.
We lived in the Houston area for a couple of years
and it was taken there.

Quotes from "Life is a Verb"......

Celebrate what you want to see more of.
_Tom Peters

Shall we make a new rule of life from tonight:
Always to try to be a little kinder than is necessary?
_Sir James M. Barrie

Have a wonderful day everyone!

*** especially my hubby and sons! Happy Father's day to them!

I added that my cousin is Sue Carol in the photo. She's a little older than me and this was before my sister was born. Thanks for the comment!

Wonderful photo...precious, truly. It must bless you every time you see it. I am reminded of these verses from The Children's Hour by Longfellow...

I have you fast in my fortress,
And will not let you depart,
But put you down into the dungeon
In the round-tower of my heart.

And there will I keep you forever,
Yes, forever and a day,
Till the walls shall crumble to ruin,
And moulder in dust away!
