Happy times!

A quote from "Life is a Verb"....

The opposite of play is not work.
It's depression.
_Brian Sutton-Smith

And part of the assignment for today was....
"Go to the grocery store and buy 5 packages of birthday candles.
Use them with wild abandon.
Find a cause for a birthday candle celebration every day ....etc."

Which reminds me......

this is an old photo of my 6th birthday party.
The little cutie in the background is my sweet sister!
I have just opened a gift and it is the 45 record
" Paper doll "
and I had the piano music that I learned to play, too. What great memories!

So when I was at Old Towne Market last week (with my hubby)
he looked through a box of old sheet music and found THIS!

I almost cried!

And yes....I gave him a BIG HUG!
Right there in the store!

Happy times!

You are so completely adorable in that picture! I love that your dress has a little belt. I like the 37 days posts, I shall find something to celebrate with a birthday candle today.

What a sweet picture. I love the dress you were wearing. The song sounds familiar but I can't really remember it. It sounds as though you have a special hubby to have remembered that the song was special to you, and to buy you the sheet music.
