Condo sightings

We don't live in a 'big city' condo!

Hummingbirds came onto our balcony
before we even got the feeders out.

I'm taking this through the screen door so it's not quite clear
but we were thrilled to have little hummers here on our balcony!

And tonight we walked after dinner and saw 2 deer!
I'll take my camera out on our walk tomorrow night
and hopefully get some photos!

Have a wonderful evening!

It's gorgeous here in the mountains!

What a lovely sky. I enjoyed your "smoke signal" from Mt. Pisgah. We drove the Blueridge & visited Biltmore on our honeymoon in 75. Such beautiful, scenic country. I'm not a mountain girl, but I loved that area.

Hummingbirds are so much fun to watch. You captured that little guy quite nicely....they move so quick that it's usually difficult to catch a good photo shot.

I haven't been to the mountains in a long time. My husband is in Seattle, however, visiting his daughter. Lots there!

Hi Diane!

Those are great pictures of your little hummingbird! I've got to get one of those feeders and try attracting some to my window. My friend just sent me a teeny tiny hummingbird feather she found on her feeder. So small, and so beautiful! Have fun watching all your critters!

Hugs, Paulette :o)

Hi Diane,
How cool is that to have the hummingbirds so close to you. You sure have been busy, everything looks so pretty and put together. Your son and daughter n law are very creative and talented, they must get it from you. I am so glad you are happy and that everything has worked out for you so perfectly with your new home.
Take care and enjoy your day,
Elizabeth

going back it looks like you are having great fun decorating the new place. Do you ever find you think you have it just like you want it..and THEN...you sit one evening and think "no, that should go over there and this should be here"? I do that so much that nothing stays in one place very long. ha!
Your dolls are soooo cute, I wonder if they dance around in the middle of the night or have secret tea parties?
XOXO

TOOOO COOOOL that you actually caught a picture of the hummingbird. They just amaze me with their wings flapping so many times in comparison to other birds.

Love the sunset. Love NC

They dont sell bird feeders here and yours is sweet in pink. However, we've got plenty of birds coming to the garden as we have a few pots of lotuses with water and 1 fish pond and another water feature, so they all come here for a drink and to have a meal of caterpillars :P Happy week ahead Diane, hugs/M
