Festival Treasures!

Please pause to remember our loss on 9/11.
Visit Some Days are Diamonds
for a beautiful tribute.
Thanks Karen for this wonderful post.

And now for my 'regularly scheduled post......

It's so much fun to go to a really big Festival
and see all the creative arts and crafts.

I always get ideas of things I want to try to make.
These bunnies were my most exciting find!
Here's a close up of the small one....

The same lady made this sweet little Annie doll!
I love her, too!

The bunnies are made out of old gloves!
3 of them are leather and this small one
is a cloth glove. How clever is that?

Waiting patiently to be photographed! lol
The base that they are sitting on is a canning jar lid!

I bought a small basket from Fran

(my hubby said...get the small one!
we are running out of room! lol)

So I carried it on my arm like Little Red Riding Hood
and filled it up as I went!

Bunnies, a sweet little Annie doll and a bar of Lavender soap
( don't I already have some Lavender soap? heehee)

I wanted to show you the beautiful cradle that Fran made

for me a few years ago!

She's made 2 of these for real babies ( a bigger size!)

We really enjoyed our day
and came home with treasures, too!

I felt like a Princess!

What a great idea to make bunnies with! What a fun day!
Thank you for mentioning my blog. It still is hard to really realize this even happened. It seems a lifetime ago, yet feels like yesterday..
Have a wonderful weekend.

What a great entry! I too, love the bunnies! I also LOVE baskets! Wish I knew how to make them! My great-grandfather, Pilgrim Progress Abbott, made baskets for a living!
Have a great day, full of God's blessings!

What fun you had. I love the bunnies made from gloves. What a clever and cute idea. The Annie doll is darling too. Beautiful basket, and the cradle is gorgeous. I used to make some baskets many years ago and I can appreciate the work involved.
Looks like it was an enchanting place. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you also for stopping by.
Hugs, Celestina Marie

I love bunnies, they were really cute. I liked their little hearts. Remember Bunnies By The Bay? I loved those.
The cradle is beautiful, your baby doll looks like she is ready for a nap.
I'm glad you had a fun day. Thanks for sharing with us.

Hi,

Oh goodness- what great treasures you found. The bunny rabbits made from gloves are about the cutest things I have ever seen - they all have their own personality. I can't wait to see the ones you make - they will be adorable like everything you create is. Looks like you had a very fun time.
Have a lovely week.
Blessings,
Erin

That little Red Riding Hood was no dumb dolly. She knew how to scare off bad wolves and carry her basket with pride. I love the carnival ride in pink and blue or is it a fun house or a storybook house? Whoever lives inside???
