Walk with me!

Since we've moved into a condo and live so close to a really nice park,

I am trying to get back into the habit of walking every day.

Yesterday I gave myself a leisurely pace and took some pics.

The end of summer flowers and weeds are beautiful
and the park is a wonderful place to walk.

This morning when I walked it was 58 degrees!
I was a little chilly when I started out!

Do you enjoy walking or some other form of exercise?
It sure makes you feel better when you get in shape!
Have a wonderful Monday....
my favorite day of the week!

Very pretty, Diane! Yep, it was chilly here this morning, too! I loved it! It warmed up though and feels more like Summer now. ♥

Happy Monday to you. How lovely your walk was. We had rain this morning, I had to run back into the house and find my umbrella for work.
Take care and enjoy your day,
Elizabeth

Walking is my preferred form of excercise. I love it, it gives me a chance to look around and breathe... When I was younger I was a runner, and could eat anything in the world I wanted during those running days ;) Not the case anymore... So yes, walking is my fave...

And, if my path looked like a storybook like yours, I would do it more often ;) ;) How magical!!

Love, V

Hi Diane, Will you keep my daughter Kara in your prayers as you walk this week. She is hurting due to a bad boyfriend situation after 3 yrs of major issues she finally got the courage to let go. Thank you, and I love going on the walks with you...You inspire me to get out there and GO!

I just moved from a Condo...or perhaps they call them townhouses in California..but the yard was the largest I have every had. I am not in a house again, and there really is no pleasant place to take a walk..so having a nice park near you must be wonderful.
What sort of berries or grapes are on the vines..
I am NOT in shape...and I need to get out and walk more. The weather seems to be cooling down so perhaps I can bet out more often.
Thank you for the very sweet comment on my post. I love seeing the people who's blogs I read so thought I would post a picture now and then even if I am self concious about it. I am off to do a bit more reading of your wonderful blog. I cannot keep up any more. :)
Enjoy your walks!

What a nice walk. I love the photo of the poke berries. We used to "paint" our faces with them so we would look like idians, when I was little.

Funny thing though, they don't wash off very well!

Blessings

I do love walking this time of year.

We don't see those poke berries up here though.

When I was a kid we loved to burst them open, but boy what a mess...and if you had a bush near your trees and the birds ate them then flew over your car, another mess...LOL!

Wow, you live in a condo with those tranquil surroundings! Lucky girl! I'd love to take a long walk there with you. I'm just getting out of the boot and wearing sneakers again. Limping along. I'll get there. Wish you were close so I could give you some of my many pinecones!

I enjoyed your pictures from your walk. It is hot here in the Piedmont of NC. The mornings are cool but then it heats up.

I love walking...except when a neighbor let several pit bulls out of his yard...makes me wary!
I go to some of our wondeful parks, usually with a friend.
Yoga is my true love, it makes me feel so GOOD! I have beginner's classes which I attend.
