Do you crop?

I use Windows Live Writer for all of my posts now and it’s much easier for me. You can even alter your photos on your post. It’s a free download and I appreciate my friend, Brenda from Cozy Little House and my hubby for helping me figure it out. Has anyone else started using it? I would love to hear about your photo tips!

One day last week we were out and about and I took these photos out my side window of the car. (hubby was driving! lol )

These are towers on Lake Julian….don’t they look spooky?

Towers2583 It looks like something from a movie…a scary one!

TowersC2582 But when you see the original….it looks entirely different! And yes, I went shopping in Michael’s that day!

DSCN2582 I love to crop and go on Picasa to make collages. What do you enjoy doing with photos?

Hope you are having a wonderful Monday! It’s bright and sunny today and I am going for a walk. Grab the camera and join me!

My hubby reminded me…..

Check this website TODAY!

“Astronomy”

“Here comes the 2009 Leonid meteor shower!

This year's viewing conditions are close to ideal, allowing the luckiest observers to see hundreds of meteors.”

Happy Viewing!

I haven't taken the time to try to figure out Live Writer yet, but I have read a lot of good things about it from fellow bloggers. I do crop my photos in Picassa. You did capture some spooky photos there, for sure.
I hope you had a nice walk and took some more photos.

Hi Diane, happy Monday to you!
Glad you have some sunshine...only clouds over Venice :(

Mostly I just like to take them! And it's always a surprise when you download them and see just what you have. The ones I often think will come out the best, don't!

Happy New Moon!
Cloudy here so I will not be star gazing tonight!
Make a wish on your shooting stars!
I do crop sometimes. Some editing is nice on digital photographs.
Have a wonderful week.

I crop photos using a Kodak EasyShare program. It's easy and I can do some fun things with it....but I usually don't.

Hi Diane! I love taking photos too. I haven't had the chance to use Windows Live Writer yet. It sounds really fun to learn and use. I like using different editing programs, so it all depends. Your photos turned out great. Yes, those towers look spooky. And I am always looking forward to my next Michael's trip. :)

Hi Diane,
Love your photos. You always take the best pics and have a great talent with the camera.

I have Photoscape and love it for fixing, croping, writing on pics and so on. I tried Picasa too, it was nice, but went back to Photoscape. I guess I was just used to it.
Have fun!!

Hugs, Celestina Marie

I haven't tired any of those croping things...I have a hard enough time just posting!!! LOL..
What books caught your eye...???
What did you get at Michaels. I'm heading over there today to buy embellishments for the church ladies craft that we are making next month.
Warmly,
Deb :)

I like taking photos and am learning how to crop. I post photos on my foodie blog. Well, I post them if I remember to take a pic before we have eaten everything. All too often after dinner I remember the camera. Ah, too late. Cropping is another neat skill to learn.

Spooky pictures!

I wish I could still use live writer, but it doesn't work with my Apple computer. I love how easy it was.

Thank you so much for your sweet comments!
