Do you ever find a stopping place?

I keep finding more places to put a few berries or bells ..... or PIXIES! heehee!

DSCN3043

When I took the photos of my Santa and elves, I remembered I had a ladder of pixies in the doll room. So now they are in this corner, where they belong!

And I added some berries to this basket....

and birds to the tree!

And now backing up.....as you enter the front door Santa’s sleigh in in the foyer to greet you.

And standing in the foyer, here’s a quick photo of my living room.

DSCN3137There’s not a spot on my sofa....so I must need to clean my camera lens.....EEEE!

I did not stage the room so this is how it looks when I get up in the morning.

We plan to buy a bigger TV and a piece of furniture for it to set on but we haven’t gotten that far yet. We watch the TV that will eventually go in the lanai.

We have more Christmas cards now and that always thrills me! Do you send out many cards each year? That’s one of my favorite traditions! I love getting photos and hearing from friends and family!

Hope you are enjoying the holiday season and feeling some thrills along the way!

Now were talking...Santa and pixies and you even have a card from Raggedy Sandy, just like me. Were two pixies in a pod...love your home. What a spacious pretty home. Yes, I will always send cards, they are important to me, I love letter writing and cards...now, a long lost art I'm afraid. Love from me to you!

Your decorations are beautiful! Great job! I love everything and the little elves and pixies especially!

I love sending/receiving cards! It saddens me that it seems to be a dying tradition. Each year we get less and less.

The pixies are adorable. Yes, I love to receive cards, but the sending of them...not so much. I'm learning a valuable lesson here, though: If one wants cards; one must send some! I'll be back to check out your kitchen and all that you've been up to this fall.

I love your pixies! Where do you find them? I only have one and that's because someone sent me one! Thanks for the tour! I don't send cards as much as I used to and I don't get very many either. It's a tradition that I do miss. Twyla

Love the berries and all of the red (my favorite color).

Yes, I do send cards. However, sometimes I barely get them sent before Christmas.

Is there a part of your home that you do not decorate? (I have visions of everything that is not moving having a bow, a berry, or a piece of tinsel on it.)

I spent the afternoon cleaning my little pond. Then, when I was about finished, I reached down to pull the pump up where I can readily get the leaves off it so it doesn't stop running, and broke the hose! Awww! Called Robert and asked if he'd come Monday and fix it. He's finished with the fence. I had to turn off the pump because of the spurting water. I know what you mean about just keeping on adding. But I'm telling myself now: it's less than a week. Then I start thinking about having to put it all away! Sure looking pretty at your house!

Hi again Diane! Your home is just lovely! Those pixie elves are so adorable, Santa looks like he's got lots of help this year! I love getting cards too, but this year I was so stretched for time, that writing them wasn't as fun as it usually is! I finished my shopping today, and yesterday I bought all my baking supplies, so tomorrow while the guys are busy digging out (I'm on Long Island and having a blizzard, but I'm not complaining because I LOVE the snow)I'll start my baking and wrapping! Enjoy your Sunday, Sweetie! Hugs, xoxo

Hi Diane,
I love the addition of the pixies on the ladder, they look so cute scrambling up there...and I simply adore the bears in the sleigh, but then you, no doubt, knew I would. LOL!
Everything is looking very Christmassy indeed.
Thanks for adding me to your list of blogger buddies...have done the same.
Warmest hugs,

Those elves are so cute climbing the ladder, and your red couch looks so great with the decorations.

You're going to have to stop sneaking in and out of Citrus County ;-) Did you have anything good at Pecks? We haven't been in ages.

Hugs,
Lallee

Your home looks soooo Christmas and cozy. Bells! I NEED bells! Why oh why didn't I buy some this year. I haven't for ages.

Another thing. Those "spots" you mention? I saw a few of them..some rather light in color on your couch...well here's the thing...if your camera lens needs cleaning, mine certainly does. As a matter of fact..some of mine are as large as a dinner plate...and MOVE! Yep..I have photographed them in full flight. I can send you one if you like! :) Interesting isn't it?
I do love your blog...and getting to know you has been such a joy for me. You lift me up. You really do! I read your comments and always, always smile! Hugs and love to you!!!
