“Wednesday Wee Ones” and my famous hubby!

I fell in love with this Annette Himstedt doll

silvi2

and you had to preorder her months in advance to even get a chance to purchase her.

She finally came but it was just a few days after I lost my Dad ( in the Fall of 1994) so I did not feel the excitement of getting a new doll at the time.

My sweet hubby picked her up and walked around with her and they both looked so cute that I snapped a photo. Later when I showed the photo to friends, they said I should send it to Annette Himstedt.

What a surprise when she contacted me to say the photo would be in her magazine, Undine.

She holds a special place in my heart....and my hubby is pretty special, too, don’t you think?

What a beautiful doll!! I was startled as the face looks like my granddaughter when she was little but her hair was light brown! Kerrie

You know this is my favorite, I think. I only have one or two and she sits where I can see her. There's another that people do a double take thinking they are children they hadn't noticed. You probably get that all the time with yours. Cute photos, especially with your husband. It's hard to tell she is a doll! Have a very wonderful and extremely Happy Birthday!!!!!

She is lovely. She could be a playmate or attend the party or be in the doll fashion show...a doll to be cherished for sure. I love my husband too, he makes me gnome world sweet. Peek on todays post and you'll see the gnome in the trunk. Thank God for the sweet men in our lives.

These dolls have the most lifelike faces of all the dolls I think! They remind me of my granddaughter when she was about 4!
Your hubby is a doll too, that is a cool photo and great that it will be used in publication!
My hubby gives me a lot of encouragement with the dolls I make, for that I am blessed, he even "owns" two of my Raggedy Ann dolls, he said he could never let me sell them!
