Roses, Rings, Rabbits and one tear!

I’ve admitted to crying over craft projects…..this morning I shed a tear for all the photos I took yesterday that did not turn out. We went for a drive and I took pics of all the beautiful flowering trees and shrubs but my camera must have been on the wrong setting! BOOHOO!

The close ups I took are fine but the trees look like they are negative images. I got excited and didn’t realize my camera dial had moved! Surely this time I will learn my lesson!

Roses….

I have been on a creative high lately and don’t want to lose momentum so I got my yarn and crochet needles out when we got here to make some roses.

I’m using the yarn I have…..

but will need to go shopping soon!

Rings….

I had this wonderful package waiting for me when we got back to NC. It’s from my sweet friend, Michela at Little Secrets from my garden. She knows I love beautiful things…and rings! She bought these in Milan! She knows I love Italy and will enjoy wearing these! Her “Pay It forward” came from Juanita . She makes lovely jewelry and I know you will enjoy her blog and Etsy store! Thank you sweet Michela! You are such a good friend!

And Rabbits….

Jan at  My Sanctuary is giving away the most beautiful rabbit, Hanna. I would be thrilled to win but I would be happy if one of my sweet followers won, too! Jan is so talented and she always inspires me. Visit her HERE  to enter the giveaway!

Have a wonderful Monday! And don’t cry! ; )

Hi Diane! Thank you for your kind e-mail and messages...I'm sorry but there's a mistake, as my PIF's gifts came from Juanita, while those rings are my PIF's gift for you and were bought in Milan.
I'm glad you loved them!
Love all your crochet roses!
Have a wonderful week! xxx

Don't you just hate when that happens? Usually the photos I've taken that I think will turn out best, don't.

so sorry your photos didn't turn out. That's so annoying. But I love the shot of the violets. Finally, Spring.

The photo of the tree's all in bloom are beautiful anyway. You can see how gorgeous they were!
I'm sorry you lost your pictures!

Are those "Johnny Jump up's" in the next picture?

The roses you crocheted are just darling...and look amazingly like real roses. What a great job. You can do so many things with them.

Your friend was wonderful to send you those rings! How nice of her!

And that bunny! Adorable! I am always so amazed at the talent of the ladies on the blogs!

Thank you so much for your comment on the quake. It was just a jolt to us!
Love and hugs,
Mona

I have been using up scrap yarn too! I just used all my white and red up last night finishing a pillow. It's fun to see what we can do with left over yarn. I love your roses!. I know what you mean about your photo's not turning out, that has happened to me too.
Have a good day and keep creating!
Big hugs for you, Elizabeth

Love your crochet roses!! I made a bunch of these a few years ago to sell at my craft shows and they were a big hit. I'm thrilled that crocheting is many a come-back.

Sorry to hear about your photos. Your rings are wonderful and look so fun to wear.
