We live in a condo in the city…

….well not exactly!

Our condo is in a pretty neighborhood just south of Asheville, NC and we chose it for the amazing view of the mountains!

Sometimes we get visitors

just passing through! (this is the behind our building)

These geese stopped for awhile and as I watched them fly,

I turned the other direction

and caught this Pileated Woodpecker on a tree nearby.

Look closely!

I love living in the ‘city’ with a view!

I hope you enjoy your day!

Hi Diane!
That Biltmore Estate is something else but both you and I know, it never could compare to the beauty out your window. My mother would always look at a sunset or flower or animal and say...God sure paints beautiful!

I like your feathered friends! Your mountain views are stunning. We used to live in Mountain Home Idaho (two times actually!) and I miss seeing the mountains. It's hard to choose between the seaside or the mountains--you are lucky to have both places and travel between them.

Hi Diane,

What a beautiful view you have of the mountains and I loved seeing the geese and woodpecker.
As we do not have woodpeckers here in NZ, was good to see.

Happy week
