Dreams of retirement?

This is what we did this afternoon!

DSCN5727

HAHAHAHA!!!

I made a quick trip to the Thrift store and came home with 2 boxes of Tinker Toys.....

DSCN5732

wait...they are Fabulous Fiddlesticks!

But they are old enough to be Made in the USA and have tin bottoms on the boxes!

I was happy with my find and my hubby and I both put together something from the instructions!

He made the Ferris Wheel....my favorite!

And I made the Windmill (with a little help! heeheehee! )

Hope you had some FUN today! Ours was unexpected!

Are you old enough to remember Tinker Toys? Did you love them, too?

island  Happy Tuesday!  island

PS This is not ALL we accomplished today! LOL

Yes, I am old enough to remember Tinker Toys. However, I was not all that creative building items with them. I did, however, enjoy building what I called
"decorations."

Oh my gosh, my brother, sister, and I spend a lot of hours playing and creating with Tinker Toys when we were kids. I loved them! I like browsing on eBay and seeing all the toys I had as a kid....except that I don't like seeing them called "vintage"! LOL!!!

Glad you had a fun and happy day!

XOXO,

Cyndi

Hi Diane,

Sounds like a fun day.
Tinker toys did not make it down here, we did have K-nex that were a little like that.

Happy week
