We were on the go the entire time my youngest son and his family was here! The kids were REALLY on the go when they ran in the Firecracker 5 K ! That’s the day we saw the hot air balloon at 7 am!

I used to be able to walk with them but now they are running the whole race so we are on the sidelines cheering!

No arboretum in our area-sad for us.

Your grandchildren are beautiful. I know you had such a wonderful time with them-the time spent with them is precious.

Cheers to many more days just like the one you enjoyed.

What a cute family and your grands are adorable. Love the expression on your grandson's face with his granddad and sister...ha! Beautiful looking garden. Congrats to the race winners, too. Excellent physical fitness!

Hi Diane!
It looks like you really had a wonderful visit with you family! I'm sure you were sad to see them go. Both of your grandchildren are beautiful and how exciting for them to do so well in the race!

Here in Cincinnati we have the Khrohn Conservatory in Eden Park. It is a large indoor facility with some truly amazing plants, flowers and features. The park itself is very nice, too! The Cincinnati Art Museum is in the park, as well as an ampitheatre and Playhouse in the Park. Certain parts of the park overlook the Ohio River and it is really beautiful.

Have a wonderful evening!

XOXO,

Cyndi

You have future cross country runners in your family! Nice! My sons ran X-C in high school.

Lovely photos of your photogenic family. :)

One of my favorite places in Western MA is Stanley Park in Westfield. It was given to the city by the founder of Stanley Home Products. Gorgeous gardens and walking trails including an area for large gatherings.

It looks like you had a very special time with your son, daughter-in-law and precious grand children. How exciting that they did so well in the race!

The NC Aboretum looks so beautiful! We have the Brooklyn Botanic Garden nearby. I've blogged about it many times as it is one of my favorite places to visit.
