Fair News!

I wanted to post a few more pics of the Fair!

DSCN8350

If you get a chance to go to a Fair near you…..you really should GO! It’s educational as well as entertaining!

DSCN8373

This was a BIG fair and reminded me of a combination Carnival AND Fair with so much to see and do!

DSCN8496

We didn’t ride any of the rides…and no….I didn’t eat any Cotton Candy! heehee! But those turkey legs looked good and the drinks served in a coconut shell! lol

DSCN8493

But my BIG news…..my sister entered a craft in her local fair and won second place! I’m so proud of her! She’s a very talented artist. She entered a painting and won a ribbon! Wouldn’t it be fun to enter next year? We should all think about it!

These are some of the things we saw entered…..

And thanks to all my friends that complimented me on my new ‘short hair’! It’s easy to fix in the mornings! And a special thanks to my girlfriend, Mona, her blog, for saying I look YOUNG! heeheehee!

Have a wonderful evening!

I've never ridden a camel, but I have ridden an elephant!

Alas, I only wish I were crafty enough to enter contests!

Hope your day is great!

I missed your post yesterday...your hair is so pretty! And the fair looks like a great time. I like that great big pumpkin, the boys I used to babysit would grow a giant milk pumpkin using a wick and bowl of milk each night.
I love the fair!

I just love that photo of the little goat....I have a love affair with goats and want one so badly for a pet!

I'll have to think on entering one of my bags in either the Butler County Fair or the Ohio State Fair...but it's taken me 6 years to enter my first craft fair, so it might not be next year! LOL!!!

XOXO,

Cyndi

I know I'd enjoy a fair if I attended one! That little goat was a chamer.

Congratulations to your sister!

People are just so darned talented. I got my hair cut really short. I want to be able to just stick it under the water hose when I get too hot outside. You guys sure are on the go a lot!
