Where are we going?

My husband always surprises me!

DSCN8729

We drove away at 9 am to visit the Biltmore Estate (not on this Segway…heehee! ) but where did we go after that?

SHOPPING!

DSCN8752

My husband actually LIKES to shop!

DSCN8754

He likes to pick out clothes for me and doesn’t mind waiting while I try them on! I know….it sounds like I’m exaggerating! heehee! These new stores include…Chicos, J. Crew, Coldwater Creek, Talbots and Williams and Sonoma. Wonderful stores to ‘browse’ in!  At one point I left him in Williams and Sonoma! He loves that store!

We have been married for 15 years and we still go everywhere together….AND have FUN! (Time for a tour of the Biltmore Winery!)

DSCN8730

He’s cute (at the fair..did the yellow rub off on his hat?)….

DSCN8348

goes to Scout meetings with our grandsons….

goes BACK to the car for fresh batteries for my camera….

and sometimes acts like he doesn’t know me! teehee!

Time to go?

Just one more picture….REALLY!

Have a wonderful day! And thanks Honey! Did you give your hubby a hug today?

You are both so cute! Your scarecrow picture made me laugh out loud. Sounds like a wonderful day! It makes me happy to know you cherish your husband, and how lucky you are that he likes to shop!

Your hubby sounds like a great guy. I think it's so nice how you are enjoying life together.
We visited Biltmore last year at Christmastime and shopped in those very same shops. Fun times. I'd love to go back sometime soon.

I did! He's almost as patient as yours is, but I think that yours takes the prize!!

I've never been to Biltmore and what neat photos!

Patient Hubbies are the best! My DH is also very patient & I did give him a hug today. Now, he's outside power washing the back of our home. :) It's a good feeling to appreciate a spouse.

I saved a "Nancy" comic strip that has the message - costs go up, but "Hugs are still free!"

He sounds like a keeper! Fortunately my husband doesn't mind shopping either...well most of the time! Thanks for the reminder...I will give my man a hug just as soon as he gets back from doing some errands for "me!" Gotta love the good ones!

You have a husband who likes to shop? Hide him! Every lady in blogland will be at your front door. Of course, my husband likes to cook so that's a good thing too.

Thanks for sharing your trip. I seriously love those hanging glass balls.

Best,
Bonnie

I loved this post! My husband is my best friend and thankfully we are more in love each day than the last.

The Biltmore is one fabulous place to visit. Tell your husband I get lost in Williams-Sonoma too! I'm always checking the sales on their web page.

You look so cute pretending to be a scarecrow! :)

Yes...yes I did give my sweet husband a hug today! He took out the trash, found the sprayer for the hose for me, promised to wash the windows for sure, REFUSED to let me do it. The man thinks I am a delicate little (ok..sorta plumpish) thing..
Are we lucky women or not.
I think we are! :)

Well, aren't you lucky. My husband hates shopping. It makes him sleepy. I would just rather go without him. Looks like y'all had a great time.

Love the picture of you with the scarecrows...it made me giggle!!
I've never been to the Biltmore Estate, but my folks have and I hear that it a great place to see.
My hubby likes to take me places and shopping still...after 31 years. We are heading to the Country Living Fair this weekend.
Sure looks like you guys had a great time.

What a sweetie you have there. Looks like another great road trip. I used to venture off to the Biltmore in Southern California just outside of LA. What a beautiful place.
I love your Autumn arrangements. Very beautiful colors.
I have another new blog just for my bears and there is a giveaway too.

It's wonderful that the two of you enjoy so many things together. Shopping is not on my husband's list, but we have plenty of other things to share. My father was the best shopper for women's fashions. He had a real knack.

I hope to visit Biltmore again some day. I haven't seen it since I was a child!

Yep, we share hugs everyday. Great photos as always Diane, thanks for sharing your wonderful shopping day. Hey I love those glass balls!
