Where have I been?

Here… There… and Everywhere! lol

DSCN8206

The weather is SO gorgeous here in the mountains that it’s hard to stay inside! We have an adventure planned for tomorrow….stay tuned! lol

I am still hiding behind the camera until my hair grows a little! But I have lost 12 pounds now….so I’m happy about that! Still not eating many carbs…and absolutely NO sugar! But I have a few treats I enjoy so I don’t feel too deprived!

Do you love Faerie Moon Creations as much as I do? Theresa is an amazing artist and I love to wear the jewelry she makes! Right now she has a cute post about….oh, you really should pop over and read it!

Anyway….I made a comment about taking photos of berries!

DSCN7370

And I told her I would post some of them!

DSCN8234

It seems like I’m ready to take a photo of a pretty flower

but then a berry gets my attention!

These are bittersweet berries and when it gets a little cooler….

yellow and orange like this…..

Today I walked at the park and took a photo of a berry tree! heehee!

Actually I think it is a wild cherry!

I hope your day is filled with fun and adventure!

DSCN7948

Do you find yourself taking photos of something odd…or interesting? ( I think these are crabapples!)

And this is the cluster of berries on a Mountain Ash tree…

Be back soon! Have FUN!

Guess that I don't have to say "same to you" as I can tell that you're having lots of fun. I so want you to be brave and show your haircut, especially with the weight loss. Great job with that!

Wonderful photos, I love blackberries the best! Hope you have a great week and congrats on your weight loss.

I'd take a day in the mountains over a day at the beach any time. Funny because I grew up on Long Island. You'd think I would prefer the water. Your pictures are beautiful!

Hi Diane! I have that same berry tree in my backyard! I bought it years ago. I couldn't remember what it was called. Wild Cherry makes sense as it's covered in the prettiest pink flowers in the spring. I always love your little trips and the lovely photos you share...and I adore Theresa too!
Have a fun day..."no sugar", boy you're good! xo Paulette

You have been such a busy girl this summer! all full of fun trips and such...We are getting away in one more week and going to IL to visit Gary's Sister who has a B&B, so that should be lots of fun!.
Yes I do take silly photo's..and when I'm out and about and I see something funny or pretty I think man o man I should have brought my camera! Or just this weekend I was painting and spilled the gallon of paint all over my tile floor I first yelled for Gary and then guess what ran across my mind, that I should take a picture of this spilled paint as it soaks into the grout....see what blogging has done to me LOL
Have a sweet day and big hugs~Elizabeth

Hey Diane! Wow, 12 pounds...way to go girlfriend! If I'd just give up carbs maybe I could lose some weight, too. But I love carbs!

And as usual, your photos are awesome. I love all the ones of the berries...so lovely!

XOXO,

This was "berry" pretty! LOL Sorry for the bad pun. You have some lovely berry photos! It's always fascinating to see all the different varieties. I get nervous every time my hubby wants to "taste" one. Men...so reckless! LOL Thank you for the lovely mention. And thanks for sharing all these amazing photos!!! :) Theresa

The weather must be just right there. Ours was actually pleasant here this morning. We had breakfast on the porch. Hooray! I enjoyed all the berries and the pretty colors.

Really pretty photos. Your sky is so blue and pretty! I take pictures of everything! I'm the same way, I'll start to take a picture of a flower but then I get
distracted by a bee and take that picture instead. It's interesting.
Your berries all look so pretty and tasty.

We love berries though the only ones that can grow in our hot weather are very sour strawberries :)
