When we drove to the Aboretum…

this is where we parked!

This is the MOST color we’ve seen this Fall!

DSCN9602

I did not color pop or alter the color in any way (or even crop)…

DSCN9452

this is what we saw!

It won’t last long though!

 DSCN9454

It’s unusual for the leaves to be on the trees after November 1st here in the mountains!

I already have my seatbelt on….but I need just ONE more photo! heehee!

Delightful! There's a special name for that color and I sure wish I could remember it... Aren't I helpful this morning?

What gorgeous color, and it looks wonderful with so many trees all in a line. Your trip must be gorgeous. Happy Halloween.

It seems the Maples are hanging in there longer than normal doesn't it? The Bradford Pear trees are just starting to turn red. They usually hang on to their leaves through November and they are one of the first to blossom in the spring!

Diane, those maples are glorious. We do have them here, too. My husband said the ones where he works are real pretty this year. I have trees that are holding leaves longer than normal too.

Maple trees are my favorite as far as fall color goes. Our street has sycamores on it and we use to have a cross of 2 maples...a silver with something else, but had to have it removed a few years back due to rot but it didn't have those gorgeous leaf color. Thanks for sharing.

It looks like we came down too early. That's such beautiful color. Don & I have never been to the Arboretum but will have to do that in the spring. Take care.

We have several called October Sky and they were just as beautiful, but the horrendous wind we had blew them all away!
Thanks for stopping by. Always good to hear from you.
