November changes!

We went to the Arboretum again!

DSCN9805

We hiked on a different trail…

DSCN9763

for another 2 hour plus hike!

Those on the top row correspond with the photos below! Taken from the same spot….one week apart! Can you believe the difference in ONE week?

Color

I’m trying a little ‘before and after’ collage!

One of the best sites we saw on this hike was the fish in Bent Creek.

DSCN9771

It’s very hard to see Rainbow Trout in a stream but we spotted these little fingerlings!

I hope you’re enjoying your November! Are there any leaves on your trees? Any birds in the feeders?

What a contrast! Thank you for showing it. Most trees in my neighborhood are bare, but of those with leaves remaining, it looks like a perpetual leaf storm as they fall to the ground. I'm watching it happen even as I type. What a great place to take a walk. Hope that you can continue for weeks ahead.

It sure looks pretty up there. I do miss the mountains but get to visit them everyday with you all.

What a difference! We had all of that wind the other day. Is it free to park there on Tuesdays?

I could watch that around here too..., in less than a week all the leaves down of certain trees!

Fantastic photos Diane. there's always leaves on the trees as there are no season here, just hot and humid all year long and with heavy monsoon showers in November and December. Happy weekend my friend...hugs/M

I love the before and after collage... just beautiful! Out here in central California, it's starting to look a lot like the before pictures of your collages. All the leaves are turning their Fall colors. I'm enjoying it so much!
Enjoy the rest of your week!

Thank you for the wonderful fall photos. We left a couple of weeks ago for Florida before we had much color our our way. Next year I'm staying until they are at their peak.

POSTCARD AFTER POSTCARD! I love your post! The fall colours are so inspirational!

We still have a few lonely leaves left on the tree here in our backyard...but it's pretty much naked!

Thanks for sharing! Have you ever submitted your photos to a magazine! You truly have a good eye!
