Thats amazing shot of a alligator in the lake. Do people actually sail in the lake? I hope they don't swim in it!! Great photos. Especially the deer. Take care..

You sure did see a lot of critters! Love the deer best of all. Are those last two in the truck real or lawn ornaments? ;D

Oh my gosh, I can't even imagine living with alligators. Do people swim in the lake?

Payne's prairie park looks really interesting. We used to go down to Seebring each winter and like to visit some of the Hammock's area and they were very similar. Hope you both have a Happy Thanksgiving.

Hi Diane...

Ohh my...that was quite a walk! Hmmm...one might even say that it was "a walk on the wild side"! Hehe! Well my friend, I have only been to Florida once and it was beautiful! Your photos remind me so much of the scenery in south Texas where I lived for nearly 30 yrs. I had a place on a large lake down there and we had a few alligators visit once in awhile too! Eeeks! It looks like you had a great time visiting this pretty park! Great photos, Diane!

Well my friend, I just read your sweet note and came right over! Thank you so much for visiting and the warm Thanksgiving well wishes! Wishing you and your family a wonderful Thanksgiving as well!

Warmest wishes,
Chari @Happy To Design

p.s. I LOVE the photo's you share with us. I loved it when I lived in Florida..and remember clearly the day my children ran and got me to come and see the Gator in the creek behind our house! Funny memory now..but then it terrified me. Not the Gator but the fact that the children thought of it as a "petting zoo" sort of thing! :)

What a great place to be! I remeber though when my granddaughter was about 6 and they lived in Florida...lots of little lakes everywhere and I worried about alligators.
We have them in Southern Arkansas now too!
