Feeling nostalgic!

I love to think back on Christmases as a child but for some reason we didn't take many photos of them. I have more of Easter...when we were all dressed up! But I did find this photo of me, my sister (standing) and my cousin, Cindy that I'm always mentioning! We were close in age, lived just a few houses apart and spent so much time together that we felt like 3 sisters!  It looks like we've torn all the wrapping paper and it's scattered here and there!  And for Vee who asked the question....my sister is just shy! She's not really crying! lol (I'll call her later and confirm this! heehee!)

Hope this holiday brings back wonderful memories for all of you!

It's about time to start baking! I am planning to make Red Velvet cupcakes for hubby next week and I'm going to use the recipe that Kathleen posted on her blog  Gonna Want Seconds ! I'm excited to make something SWEET!

And won't I be stylish in my new apron...

Samantha from Samantha's Accessories made this GORGEOUS apron and I won it in her giveaway! She included these beautiful tags, too! THANKS, Samantha!

I love everything she makes...AND her Mom, at the Olde Country Cupboard blog. They are both SO talented!

You're going to have such fun baking in your beautiful kitchen wearing your lovely apron. You really do look beautiful. And you know what? You haven't changed very much through the years. I would've known that sweet little girl was you. Now I do have a question for you: why did you make your little sister cry? :D

You look awesome in your apron! I really like the photo, Ron did a good job :) Oh, if we could go back in time for just one day and play, nap and dream the dreams of possibilities! Lucky us to have captured memories on film to remind us of those lovely carefree times! Love you!

You look very cute in your apron! I love that shade of paint in your kitchen. No, I haven't driven around to look at lights. Don't know if I'll get around to it or not. Sooo much traffic around here it's sort of scary to get out at night. Happy baking!
