Dreaming of summer!

It's been cool here in Florida but we have a lot of bright sunny

days that feel warm enough to sit by the pool in the SUN!

15Nov

I actually put my swimsuit on one day last week

and sat by the pool to read! It felt glorious!

I finished The Help by Kathryn Stockett and

now my hubby is reading it!  Visit her website HERE !

Have you read it yet? I would HIGHLY recommend it!

I can go out my back door,

So refreshing to see green and blue - I am in a world of white skies and white ground and grey and brown trees - It makes the winter longer when we don't see much color!

How I would like to join you at the pool. Yes, definitely cold here with lots of snow and although we have a hot tub, just not the same as swimming on a warm day. :-)

Thanks for stopping by to see my amaryllis! I can't imagine them growing out in the flower beds, I'm totally living in the wrong part of the country. To have flowers all year long would be a dream come true. Your warm world looks heavenly right now. Have a cold drink by the pool for me would you please?

Oh you lucky lucky person! My husband left today for a week long trip the the Dominican Republic to play golf. (long story). I'd rather be in FL!
Enjoy your sun and thanks for your visit today.
I'm going to check out the book.

I have a feeling you might be thinking about your other residence where it is COLD! and they are expecting a huge amount of snow tonight and tomorrow. I guess even a little bit cold in Florida is much better than a lot of cold in NC. Enjoy! (PS I hope to read The Help soon.)

Oh Diane, sitting by the pool in your bathing suit in January sounds wonderful! It was 2 degrees when I got up this morning and it's not supposed to get out of the 20's all week. In fact, we are supposed to get 5 more inches of snow on Tuesday. Can I come live with you for the winter? LOL!

XOXO,

Cyndi

Hi Diane...

Ohhh my goodness...how I could use a little break in sunny Florida, my friend! It's just so funny to even think about wearing a swimsuit and sitting out by the pool...how wonderful! If I could, I would be one of your little winter snowbirds...that fly south for the winter...and then back to Colorado for the summer! Hehe!

I'm so glad that you stopped by yesterday...it was great hearing from you, sweet friend! I hope that my note finds you and honey both doing well!

Warmest wishes,
Chari

Oh my! I could use some of that sunshine and warm temps about now. I'm snowed in {again}...Good thing I've got a big home to ramble around in or else I'd have cabin fever.

I love, love that photo of the sky...those clouds look like cotton candy floating.

Thanks so much for visiting with me..I sooooo appreciate that! I'll be posting another page of the pinafore aprons tonight.

Have a wonderful day,
