Congratulations to Joy! I hope she enjoys shopping with her gift certificate! :o)

There is a pair of eagles that lives in an old tree on the golf course by my BIL's house in St. Pete. We love seeing them when we visit - they are awesome!

Have a wonderful day, Diane!

XOXO,

Cynd

Congrats to Joy! What a special thing to see a pair of eagles, they are so majestic.
To answer your recent comment...I read Lonsesome Dove over the summer and really enjoyed it. I have tried other Larry McMurtry books but haven't enjoyed them as much as Lonesome Dove. Also after reading the book I watched the movie (with Robert Duval) and it was very good as well. It's rare for me to enjoy a movie as much as the book.
Have a great weekend, enjoy those blue skies!

Congrats to Joy!

I love CSN Stores and posted a review of one of their products on my blog today. Between the three giveaways they've hosted at The Hut and the two reviews they've allowed me to do, they keep me busy. Love them!

I also love eagles. They are one of the bird species that mate for life, along with flamingos, swans and several others. There is a nest on the property of Kennedy Space Center that is the size of a king-size bed. The same pair return each year to raise their young. They point it out on the drive to the Space Center. I think that's so cool.

I wonder if this is a mating pair and if there might be a nest nearby. How fun!

How exciting! I was lucky enough to get pictures of an eagle close up a few years ago. We haven't seen him)or her since. The other day we had two hawks flying circles over our place but the camera was inside.

Perfect pictures! Just saw this Winston Churchill quote today- "When the eagles are silent... the parrots begin to jabber."

Awesome photos Diane. At the Oregon/Auburn game last week they let go an Eagle that flew around the coliseum during the opening before the game. They are such an awesome bird and to capture them in flight like you have done is great.
You always seem to get the best photos. Hope is all well for you. At least you are out of the snow field. We only go ice and lots of rain where we are but looks like the rest of the country really got nailed.
Take care my friend

Congrats to the winner, wow what great pictures, that must have been something to see! I don't know if your photo was that close, it looks like the birds are flying so low.
