Oh YAY-someone like me!Before we moved and down sized my dolls had a room of their own too.It was also my granchildrens play room. The dolls were all on shelves my husband made for me.At that time all my grandkids were boys so they never asked to play with them. Now my dolls are still all around but don't have a room of their own anymore.

What a collection, how much time do you spend in that room just looking at them. I bet each and everyone has a story to tell. They are great...but what I'm really loving is that little black cat on your side bar.

Wow ~ a whole room for your dolls. You are one lucky girls. I am your newest follower because I love my dolls too, although I don't have as many as you do. I love your vintage children's books too. Stop by and visit me when you have a chance. I received a dollhouse for Christmas and will be putting it together soon.

Oh my goodness! What lucky dolls to have a room of their own and lucky you to be able to have such a beautiful collection. I'm loving that tattered brown teddy bear. Thanks for sharing your collection.

Oh my goodness I love dolls and children's books too!!! And I have lots of both. Sadly my son is terrified of dolls!!! My beauties are hidden away...they scare him! When I get upset with him all I have to say is I'm bringing out the dolls lol !!! Or show him a blog with doll heads...that really scares him!
How wonderful that your husband understands your doll collection.

what a great playroom! I love children's books too. I have a collection of some of the old Elsie Dinsmore series but mostly mine are more modern children's books about or related to quilting

Hi Diane,
You WoW'd me for sure...I use to collect dolls, but then I ran out of room, I started giving them away to my grand daughter, they were the Yolanda Bellows babies. I went to a doll show and she was there, so she signed a few them for me. Its was hard to have the dolls since every time my grand daughter would be over and any little one they would want to play with them..
Your collection is amazing and very fun in deed.
Have a sweet day, hugs Elizabeth

I used to have a doll collection from countries that I visited around the world as a child...but the collection was donated to goodwill when my parents moved!!! That bummed me out when I learned I no longer had my old doll collection, so enjoy yours.

Your doll in the pink dress reminds me of my Gigi from Paris. I was little when I got her so she is over 50 like me and lives in a draw by my bedside.

I love your doll room...how great! I keep some of my dolls in my children's old bedroom (the girls are all grown up now) But when I used it for a guest bedroom...I am kind of embarrassed...I wonder what the visitors really think.
