ROBA DOLCE....by the pool!

With great eagerness we tore into the box from Roba Dolce!

DSCN1142

Inside was a mountain of ice cream cartons

all begging to have the first fling with our taste buds!

DSCN1145

With them all lined up on the counter,

the irresistible Pistachio beckoned us with a siren call!

DSCN1146

In a snap, the lid was off!

We scooped out luscious mounds of creamy delight into the awaiting bowls.

Patience.

We must let it temper. Long minutes passed until weakness overcame us!

Oh, the palate pulses with pleasure as the pure heaven swirls in our mouths.

The muted crunch of the nuts is all that slows us from devouring the cool nectar.

Creamy and nutty. The best of both!

The taste of Roba Dolce rivals the homemade ice cream you cranked for hours in your youth.

The wonderful flavor and creamy texture didn’t stop there.

No. It continues on from one carton to the next!

I took the carton of Dark Chocolate Chunk to the pool!

DSCN8242

OH MY! Chocolate lovers beware!

You can’t STOP yourself!

DSCN8248

The silky chocolate cream plays delightfully with your senses!

Then the dark chunks excite your taste buds

with a deep richness and just a hint of the bitter tones

you’d expect from lots of cocoa.

The other flavors will be just as memorable!

This post was almost too cruel for me to finish reading all about your delicious time eating all that ice cream! LOL Ever since we first travelled to Italy, I've been in love with gelato, so if this stuff is as good as the original, I think I might have to get the info on how to get some for myself!?! ;-D

Ooooh, ooooh, ooooh..... I am soooo jealous! Why? 1. You are eating Gelato (love it!), and I can't. 2. You are in Florida eating Gelato. 3. You are in Florida at the pool eating Gelato! 4. You are in Florida where the sun is shining and it is warm enough for you to be at the pool eating Gelato..... get my train of thought? Sigh. Enjoy some for me, sweet friend! :o)

XOXO,

Cyndi

Love your pool pics - looks like you'e enjoying nice weather - wet and cold here in Raleigh this weekend.

Diane, I've been missing your posts for some reason, the newer ones weren't showing up so I thought you were taking a break! Glad to see all is well dear.

I'm off on a little trip soon - heading west again, but much farther west than Asheville this time!

We love gelato. So creamy. I need to check these guys out. I haven't seen it in stores. I'm near Orlando. Where do you buy it? I see they shipped to you.

Chocolate! I have tried a little cafe here that offers Gelato and Sorbetto. Love it.
It looks warm there. Florida is the place to be during the winter.
