Hi Diane,
I am so glad you are enjoying your gifts. Your pics are great and it is so kind of you to mention your win, my shoppe and blog too.
You are such a special lady and so happy your name was pulled from the Pink Cowgirl Hat by my hubby.

The flowers are lovely in your area at Sholom Park. I have the same saucer magnolias, but they are not in bloom yet. We need a few more warm days.
Yes, you are right, we have a crazy busy weekend fine tunning the remainder of the project.
Have a great weekend and thanks again sweet friend.
Hugs from Texas

What a lovely post. I love Celeste, and her giveaway is gorgeous. She was one of the first people to visit me years ago on my blog.

I also love Creative Carmelina, Her blog is wonderful. She is a gifted artist as well.

In answer to your question about what kind of journal to use. One of the most famous ones that every artist adores is the Moleskin. I do watercolor allot and they have a watercolor one. Moleskin allows you to create in all kinds of mediums and it is dreamy paper to work on.

Another fun thing to do is make your own journal, connect it with rings and then you can add any kind of paper you want. The nice thing about this is that if you are away somewhere and doodling while you are waiting somewhere, when you come home you can put it in your journal. Here is a favorite resource for dreamy supplies:

I hope that you have a wonderful day.

how wonderful to see beautiful flowers instead of the snowscape I have outside my windows.... it's still -17C here and well.... sitting here with a steaming mug of coffee...looking at flowers and greener seems a good thing to do... next... I think I'll bake something so I can turn on the stove......
