My Dreamy bedroom!

I love pretty things! So when we moved to Florida, my hubby said it was a good time for me to have my ‘dream bedroom’! We found the Lady of Shallot print years ago and it has always been in my bedroom but moving to a new house gave me the opportunity to design a room around this painting!

These are my favorite linens...new from Lavender Fields ! Visit their online store! They have the MOST beautiful linens!

DSCN2725

But this past week when I was at ‘my Thrift store’ the lady working in the linens was just hanging these up!

DSCN2690

Aren’t they RETRO and FUN?!

DSCN2697

Then another day, I found this embroidered pillowcase with a crochet edging!

So this morning I fluffed the pillows and took some photos!

Vintage bed linens....

my friend Sherry from Back 2 Vintage  says I have been ‘bitten by the vintage bug’ and I think this proves it!

The sun is too bright and inviting to take a nap....

but I don’t think I’ll make my bed today!

Yes, I can see how two great minds think alike. Although the bed I pictured was a guest bed - still working on Springing up my bed - will share soon - hope - started another pillow and made a mistake - had to walk away - the outdoors is calling me too!

I'm loving those linens. Those pillow cases with the flowers remind me of the flower stickers that were so popular back in the late 60's. I had them all over my room in every size and color. Thanks for sharing these with us.

Hi.....so sorry you weren't on the list, but you are now. For some reason not all of the blogs I read are there, I am fixing that soon.

The print from the painting by Waterhouse, I adore his work.

Being bitten by the Vintage bug does strange things. You will find your self wanting to stop in every thrift store you see, go to every yard sale, and have with drawals if you do not stop. But don't be afraid, it can be cured by simply buying something vintage. Well at least until the itch starts again. LOL

I love your linens!

I love your bed linen, it would go well in our bedroom. What I do find interesting is that you sleep with the window behind the bed. This is not something I have ever considered, we always face the windows to enjoy the view when we wake up :)

Beautiful linens. My Gma used to make those pretty stitched pillow cases too. You found a real prize at the GW. We had a beautiful day here in St. Louis and then today it is back in the low 50's and overcast..
