*Precious Gems*

We all treasure our ‘precious gems’!

DSCN3426

I love having beautiful things on my dresser and nightstand!

 DSCN3380

I have collected vintage glassware

DSCN3375

and even old jewelery boxes

DSCN3372

to hold some of the vintage jewelry that I have...

 DSCN3374

But what are my precious gems?

All of you! rose

I get the best ideas from visiting my favorite blogs each day!

Today I went to Graphics Fairy and saw a beautiful project

by Girl in Pink ! So I saved an image from Graphics Fairy

and made this little card to hold an old clip on earring!

DSCN3424

I distressed the card using brown KIWI shoe polish because Vicki at Rusty Rooster Vintage had just posted THIS POST showing us how! So now I have another way to display my treasures, using something I already had!

Oh, you are so right, there are so many wonderful things out there in blog land to be found and most are happy to help and share. Your display is just amazing on your dresser. Love it.

my husband's first car was a ford falcon too, he had to pull it out of his uncle's field, had no floor, and did not run. If he could get it to run, he could have it. It ran, no floor and all!!!

Happy VTT!

How I wish I had some craft or recipes to pass on, but I don't. In these later years I just stopped doing all that. I tried getting into scrapping but that is on hold too. A house? I think I will build a house...and when I get started I will show you step by step...how much I can mess up on a project! :)

I loved the card. AND the earring. It's beautiful, my dear!
You did good!
Hugs,
Mona

I saw those posts too!

Your dresser top makes me remember my mother's. She always had so much "stuff" on top but all of it interesting.

Oh my, you've been so creative while I've been on my break!

This card is an adorable way to display that cute earring!

I alos love your sweet bunny and the soap wrappers? Awesome and it gave me a great idea to design some beachy ones if I ever get my store up and running.

Nice to take a break and catch up with my blogging friends, I've missed you!

The shoe polish, that is a novel idea to me. I so love to visit and get ideas too. I have a glass salt cellar just like yours with The beads and earrings in. Neat way to display it.
