Would you go to a Knap-in ? “Mosaic Monday”

Do you know what it means? I didn’t...

until my hubby and I went to the Silver River Knap-in!

It was a  Flint Knapping and Stone Age Arts Festival!

And here I am making myself at home!

The inside of the Tee Pees were surprisingly roomy!

I stepped back a little to watch this...

But we saw some amazing arrowheads and relics!

I bought an arrowhead that this young man had made!

And this necklace that his mom created!

It was very interesting and a gorgeous day at the State Park!

I sure didn't know what a knap-in was. Looks so cool. Seeing these pictures makes me miss Florida. (Just had a blizzard dump about a foot of snow on us overnight...ugh)!

I wish I could have gone to this! The Silver River State Park is 5 miles from my house. I haven't heard of a Knap In before. It looks like you had fun, and thanks for the pics, at least I got to "see" it!

I never heard that word before but it was interesting to learn about it! It looks like a fun day with lots to see and do. The necklace you bought is very pretty!

PS: Yes, that is a tee-pee in one photo on my blog! The Brooklyn Museum had a special exhibit about the plains Indians and native life in tee pees ..very interesting! :)
