You can NOT see everything in one afternoon…

or even in one day!

Are you tired

and ready for a break?

Do you want to stop and see the train go by?

Or would you like to walk across the street and get some ‘world famous BBQ’ at 12 Bones!

President Obama and his wife ate here when they visited a couple of years ago! And yes…we got some Beef brisket, ribs and a half chicken TO GO!

I’m planning some ‘Meet the Artist’ features that I hope you’ll enjoy!

Do you like seeing artists at work? Are you in a creative mood today? CREATE something beautiful!!!

I would so love to visit Asheville! You know, once upon a time, I had the chance to take a job & move to Boone, and I passed it up. Such a long story. But when I see pictures like this, I think, "what was I thinking???" LOVE those beautiful mountains. And David Wilcox. ;)

I just had to check out the menu for 12 Bones! It's the cook in me, hehe. For my sides I would pick the mashed sweet potatoes, collard greens, coleslaw, and baked beans. MMMMM! They have a great menu If I'm ever in Asheville, I'll be picking up something to eat from there.

I AM in a creative mood today! You should see what I'm working on ;)
Hugs!

Love those photos of the train. I think I would just sit and watch the cars go by and skip the eating.

Happy Weekend.

We were planning a trip to Asheville this summer but we cancelled because our Christmas ski trip is going to be so, so expensive! I love Asheville. It is my favorite American city!

You know, it's just so wonderful that we can tour far away towns and places thru our Blogger friends. I will likely never get to Asheville, but thanks to your tour, I feel like I've had a great visit and cannot wait to meet some of the Artists who express their creativity there.

You commented about how to transfer a pattern. Since I usually do my embroidery on muslin, it is easy to just lay the fabric on top of the pattern and trace. sometimes it helps to do it on a window. I hope you try it and show what you've done. It's addictive.

PS - I'm going to check out the books you're reading. Sounds good!

The buildings are so cool looking. We will have to check this area out when we get there. We love coming to Ashville and going to Biltmore. We usually always get there early so we can spend the whole day just enjoying all Biltmore has to offer which is a whole lot. If you haven't checked it out yet I think you would really like it!

Thanks so much for covering the River Arts District! It was great to see Cassie Ryall's sculptures in the garden and all the great shots of Jenny Mastin here at Constance Williams Gallery!

Come back soon!
