How fast can you run?

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday! We’ve had LOTS of fun with our company…..now they’re gone! It’s SO true..time sure passes quickly when you’re having fun!

We did so many interesting things! We rode bikes in the park.

Thanks Jeannie for letting me ride your bike!

And our granddaughter and grandson both ran in a race on the morning of July 4th and we cheered them on!

I haven’t run in a race in a long time! The last time I ran, I was 40 and got a third place trophy for the 5K.  (long long ago! lol) I’ve walked a few since then but I don’t run any more. Have you ever run in a race?

This is a pre-race pic…my son ran with his son!

I’ll share more photos another day! I’m off to visit some of you! Give me a hint…what’s new with YOU?

How wonderful that you could be with your grandchildren to cheer them on during their road race. We spent the day swimming, eating and watching fireworks.

What a wonderful holiday with your kids and grandkids.

Nope, I've never been in a race. I'm not in to running, but I love walking.

Cheers,

Looks like a good time--you must be back from NC ... no I'm not a runner but love to watch others in a race, cheering them on.

It looks like a fabulous weekend with your family.

How fast can I run? Depends on who/what is chasing me. :o) I ran/walked a 5K several years ago. I didn't come anywhere near third place...unless you started counting from the back.

I run and completed a 5K for brain tumour foundation this spring.

I'm more of a fast walker than runner, Diane. I last ran in a race in the 1980's. I just find it hard on my knees. It looks like you had a wonderful holiday!

I'm a walker. I haven't really ran for a few years, and have never competed in a real race.

It looks like you and your family had a wonderful 4th! We had a BBQ!

Your grandkids appear to be the smae age as mine :)

HI Diane! First, thank you for your kind condolences on the passing of my cousins.

I'm just getting back into blogging and wanted to come by and tell you that you are one of the winners of my World Oceans Day giveaway! I see you're off in the mountains, so I'll just hold on to your goodie box until you return to Florida.

It looks like you're having a wonderful time and I saw the pics you took of the smoke in South Florida. Family there really had a time of it dealing with all the smoke and ash.

Have I ever run a race? No, but I do run to the dinner table!

Hugs

Looks like a great holiday. I got third place in May at 53, but I think I am going to stick to mostly walking from now on. Not near the injuries there!

Love your hiking pics also!
