Out on the town!

This is our idea of going ‘out on the town’!

DSCN5350

We went to listen to the Galen Kipar Project at a Concert in the Park!

ParkMusic

Their music was very eclectic and we enjoyed it!

The weather was beautiful….

and there was even dancing!

I’m joining Mary at the Dear Little Red house

for Mosaic Monday!

When was the last time you danced?

(In public? Decades. At home? This morning.)

Those children really are making their own good times. An open air concert is so much fun. Glad that you enjoyed it so much.

We have concerts in the park here, but I haven't been to any this summer. I love seeing little kids dance...what joy!!
Why the last time I danced was just this past Friday night...with my little 17 month old grandson and he loved it!!

Cindy

Some of our friends went there too!! The last time I danced was here in my home on June 30th. It was our 32nd wedding anniversary and we danced to "our song".

I especially enjoyed your post because it took me on a little trip down Memory Lane. I play a fiddle and violin and used to play at any music festival. We loved to clog and sing and play music half the night. I am too old for that now, but I do have my memories. You had gorgeous weather for this music festival, and the pictures are wonderful. Happy MM. Genie

Hello Diane! This what I call fun under the summer sun. Great weather, happy people, fun atmosphere, what more can you ask for!

Oh, that looks like so much fun! With all the ways we have to listen to music these days, we sometimes forget what a treat it is to listen to live music. And outside on a beautiful day is the best time! xoxo

Does xbox kinect count as dancing? I do that every week! If not, then our anniversary was the last time I danced, in the beginning of June.

I haven't been to a concert in the park for years. It looks like you had a great time, and everyone enjoyed themselves!

Great photos!

I love those outdoor summer concerts, especially when the weather cooperates. We went to one earlier this summer to hear the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra at the local nuclear power plant. It was a lot of fun.
Love your photo of the kids dancing.

iHeheh, funny you should ask but I dance every morning with Phoebe while we wait for the coffee to perk and her breakfast to warm in the micro. Yes, I heat her canned food as it comes out of the fridge and she doesn't like it cold, so we dance while we wait. heheh.
Real dancing has been a very long time ago. Wow, I can remember it was about 8 years ago at the American Legion at my BIL birthday bash. ehehe
I used to love the concerts in the park in Bend Oregon but that was a very long time ago too. I seem to listen to music very little these days. The TV is on about 24/7 just for the noise in the back ground.
I am so happy to see you visited . Yes I have been laid up for a bit. Stupid sciatica sort of makes me a little miserable.
I am really enjoy our summer here. The temps don't get much above the mid 70's here. Perfect for my choice of climates.
Have a great day Diane and thanks so much for stopping by.
Hugs

I can't remember the last time I danced. That should be remedied.

Summer events in the park are one of summer's delights. Last week my husband and I went to a movie showing in the park. What fun!
