I almost hate to say this..but our weather is hot and windy. Not as humid as it normally is. After weathering Katrina...my prayers are with all those who have been affected by Irene..
Love your pictures!

It's not often that I get to take the time to stroll through the Arboretum or art studio, but when I have, I'm always so glad I did. Those are beautiful pieces you decided to photo. We had some good winds and just a little rain from the storm. We have leaf and small limb debris to rake up this week. Irene can't leave fast eough.

I just adore that first photo of the bird and leaves. Looks like my kind of place to visit.
A couple of days ago we had a tornado warning but only had high winds; much luckier than our friends on the east coast.

It looks like a fab spot to wander through. I don't think I've ever seen an Aboretum that has an art gallery.

You always have an interesting place to tell about. I should visit some of those places. You and your husband seem to enjoy life which is very good. Today the weather is dry(again) and very hot(again). I feel for those affected by the storm.

Hi Diane,
What a great place to visit.
You can do it...you can sew a quilt if I can LOL. Moda has the sweetest fabric really soft prints. Just remember be careful with your measuring its very important to be accurate so your seams and points will line up.
I can't wait to see what you are making.
Have a sweet day, Elizabeth
