Pics of the Produce store where I shop!

And no…I’m not giving away produce! heehee!

But I bought tomatoes, okra, onions, potatoes, RED ripe peppers, corn on the cob, peaches, plums and blueberries!

What’s your favorite fruit or veggie to buy at the local produce store? I fried the okra last night…OH MY! YUMMY! (and then I walked at the Park! lol)

It was in 100's here!!

Thank you so much for the comment on my blog. It is greatly appreciated.

I see you live in the mountains of NC. We love to go to the mountains! However, we won't be traveling up there on a regular basis; my parents just moved from Hendersonville back to Fayetteville; I will definitely miss going up there, but it's great having them this close.

Kure Beach is so nice, I will be adding my new post this afternoon, stop on by.

Sorry for the delete of the previous comment, I had several typos!!

Have a great day!

I love okra and fried green tomatoes. The green tomatoes are not so good for my arthritis though. I would have to say potatoes, onions, red tomatoes, cabbage and peppers are our staples, and I always have fresh fruit too.~Ames

I love farmers' markets. I always buy corn, tomatoes, zucchini, peppers, cantaloupe. I never tasted a fried green tomato. I never see green tomatoes for sale around here. :( xo

I love just about anything from the farmers market and produce stands. The produce from the regular grocery stores gets worse every year.

Well my dh is a pretty big gardener so we have plenty of home grown produce. I guess we just need to plant some fruit tree's so we have the fruit group covered. Have a great weekend!

Hi sweet Diane,

I am a lavender lover....we have touches of it everywhere in our home.

Actually we are cooler here in Florida than in many parts of the country but the humidity is beyond awful. It is about the worst I can ever remember.

Looking forward to your return to the Sunshine State. Have a wonderful weekend.

I love fresh produce, and I pretty much love it ALL! I love your market, too. It's so pretty!

It was 97 in the shade here today, and sticky beyond belief. My capri's felt glued to my legs. It's cooling off this evening, it's only 90 now :)

My favorite vegetable is fried okra but I like most fresh vegetables except tomatoes. I don't know why they are so objectionable to me. My family used to grow tomatoes in a greenhouse for sale to markets and yet I never ate them. Your photos were cute. Have a nice weekend. Shannon

Where is that produce store Diane? Is it in Fletcher?

Here in Northern British Columbia, Canada we have a very short growing season so not even corn grows. We rely on grocery stores or trucks that come up from the south to sell their fresh produce. Never have tried okra.
