Picnik, turkeys and giveaways!

I’m trying to do a quick post! Is that even POSSIBLE for me? heehee!

My blog girlfriend, Molly at A Bit O’ Shine has some of her gorgeous photos with ‘space textures’ found on Picnik right now! So I rushed over and worked on one of my nighttime photos! I LOVE it…don’t you?

(this is for those that use Picasa for their photos)

DSCN6159-1

We take walks in the evenings around our condo! It’s not really a ‘city’ condo! We have a wooded area on both sides and behind us!

I’ve been seeing a wild turkey roosting up in an old pine tree for awhile now!

But I got really excited a few nights ago when I saw TWO! (you can see the tail of one above and to the right of the one)

Those are really neat photos. I've used Picasa a little. I just end up spending so much time fooling with that stuff - and I feel like a waste enough time as it is.
Sure didn't waste time entering the quilt giveaways at Madame Samm's!
I'm so glad we both won!

Your night photos are great, and I love the roosting turkeys! I have been thinking of trying out Picasa. My brother uses it, and loves it.

There's a new frozen yogurt place in town, and it is amazing! You have to try it! I just got back from there...MMMMM!

Oh I love your photos--they are awesome--and I love the special effects!! I use picnik too...I used to use picasa, but every time I went on, their program downloaded every picture on my computer!!! Thank goodness picnik doesn't...

Also, picnik is great for the holidays too!

I hope you have a wonderful weekend!!!

XO
Cindy

DO YOU KNOW...that I live in the suburbs of Minneapolis, but by no means is it a wooded areas. WE HAVE THREE resident turkeys that have been making the rounds in the neighborhood!!! I call them the Johnson St. Brothers because they enjoy walking on the sidewalk on the main drag of Johnson!!! WHERE DID THEY COME FROM!

Love that space texture shot and thank YOU so much for your visit!!! Anita
