Somebody check my TEMPERATURE….

because the HEAT must have gotten to me and made me go CRAZY for one afternoon!

Yesterday, to do something a little ‘special’ to celebrate feeling GOOD….I told my hubby, ”Let’s go to the movies!” Let’s go see Harrison Ford!!!

WHAT WAS I THINKING! I have to fast forward through the Wicked Witch of the West in the Wizard of Oz…for crying out loud!

And here I was saying I want to go see

Harrison Ford in ‘Cowboys and Aliens’!!!

I thought it would be like “Indiana Jones” and hubby didn’t say anything except COME ON….and the next thing I knew I was at the theatre hiding my head in a bag of popcorn. And not a very BIG bag of popcorn at that! Hubby said I missed about half of the movie! He also said it was GOOD!

When we were leaving I told the attendant, I should have seen ‘Winnie the Pooh’….or the ‘Smurfs’! He said he thought this movie was good, too and as I walked out….I noticed that he and my hubby exchanged “LOOKS”!

I still love Harrison Ford but if the Wicked Witch of the West scares you….think about that before you go to this movie!

Just saying…..heeheehee!

Any movie you would like to recommend?

Enjoy your weekend!

Oh well, you win some and you lose some. (o: At least you had the popcorn.

Last night (Friday) we had a carpet picnic in the sitting room and watched "Message In A Bottle". I love that movie but I don't like the sad ending.

Happy Weekend.

I like Harrison Ford, too :D

I would like to recommend Crazy, Stupid Love. In my opinion, it is THE BEST romantic comedy. Ever. It is better than Sleepless in Seattle, When Harry Met Sally, and Nottinghill.

Go see it.

We just saw the Harry Potter movie. Very good.
I used to be scared of movies, but not much anymore. I love Harrison Ford, but I don't like cowboy movies. Probably will wait for the DVD.

I still can't watch scary movies either. They give me nightmares for eons! I haven't seen anything recently, but when I do come across a good SAFE movie, I'll let ya know!

I'm not a big fan of scary movies, however I was able to handle the wicked witch. :).
I haven't been to the movies lately. I am anxiously awaiting the release of "The Help". Loved the book.

Oh I can't watch scary movies either! Even if it does have Harrison Ford. I'm usually looking for those cute romantic movies.

You know Diane, I too love Harrison Ford but the whole idea of Cowboys and Aliens just made me laugh. What is up with the film industry. Have we reached such a stage in our lives that we are just throwing stuff together because lots of folks like cowboy movies and the others like aliens. SO..... lets make a movie combining them all together. Sorry gang, doesn't work for me and obviously we are in agreement Diane. I just saved my self some bucks. How was the popcorn. eheheh
A walk on the beach would have turned me on a lot more then cowboys and aliens. LOL
Hugs my friend

I am much the same way! Thanks for the tip. I usually wait until a movie comes out on dvd then I can put it in my Clearplayer and have most of the scary parts removed. haha

P.S. I am hosting a giveaway today through tomorrow in case you would like to check it out. ;-)

We saw the previews to that one, and I was wondering how in the heck it would end up, but really no desire to go and see it.
I'm just a "Soul Surfer" kind of girl. It should be out on DVD soon.

I want to see Crazy, Stupid Love, but am waiting for it to come out on DVD. Between my back problems and my RLS, it is hard to sit through a whole movie...but I think I could eat some popcorn today, it sounds yummy!!

I love Harrison, but me NO LIKEY scary movies at all! I just can't for the life of me figure out how cowboys and aliens would even go in the same sentence!!

Funny...we went yesterday. I loved it and the hubby not so much! Of course I saw a documentary on the making of the film on the History channel. They said it stands to reason that if we see unexplained sightings so would those who lived in times past. Including native American Indians and Egyptians, because they drew the space ships and Aliens on their walls and cliffs.Scaredy cat! :)~Ames

Hi Diane,
Thank you for the heads up on the movie. Scary is not my choice either.
I do recommend seeing one coming out soon with Robert Duvall about golf, but a great story line. Can't think of the name at the moment, but I am sure it will be advertised soon. My hubby read the book and said it was awesome. A friend of ours was invited to the premier showing last night here in Dallas and said it was the best ever. I need to read the book first, but been too busy. We will be going to the movie.

Thank you for stopping by and your kind comment. Good Luck in my giveaway.
XO Celestina Marie

Jeff really doesn't want to go, so I think I'm going to treat myself to a matinee this week...just me and my bag of popcorn! LOL!!!

XOXO,

I rented 'Insidious' 'The Tourist' & 'Inception' this weekend & they were all very good movies, but one thing I have to say about 'Cowboys & Aliens' is when did Daniel Craig get to be in front of Harrison Ford on the movie cover? I've been wanting to say that for so long now... Harrison Ford is a bigger star that DC will ever be & I just can't believe they felt they had to show him standing there in front of or ahead of Harrison Ford... just saying... heheheee =)

Ha! You are funny. Sounds like me. I hate going to the movies to be honest. I take my boys often, but I see I am slowly but surely passing that onto my husband. I did hear this movie was good though.

You are too cute! I LOVE Harrison Ford and have watched just about every movie that he has made. I had no idea that this movie was scary, I was thinking Indiana Jones as well. I will have to wait to see it on DVD in the comforts of my own home. :)
I hope you didn't have any nightmares. :)

LOL ... poor you! I have heard it is good but not really into alien type movies. We recently took our grandboys to Winnie the Pooh ... they were totally bored with it.
We just saw The Trip ... funny with some great impressions.
