What We’re Reading #7 “Hearts on a String”

Don’t you LOVE finding a new author that’s written about a dozen books?

How exciting when you read the first book and like it to know you can find MORE!

Well…I had my hopes up and I was disappointed!

I read “Hearts on a String” and thoroughly enjoyed it!

It was a light read with lots of good female characters! Just what I was in the mood to read this summer! Women forging friendships that will last a lifetime! I loved the subject and since it was set in Florida…that made it even better!

I searched at my library and started requesting ALL of The books written by Kris Radish. Some I read…or skimmed! Some I didn’t even get past the first few pages. There are SO many good books to read that I don’t waste my time on those I don’t enjoy! And I would not recommend any of her other books. (SORRY)

If you’ve read this author…I would love to know what you think!

Thanks Ricki Jill for this fun party!

And THANKS Fletcher library for finding all the books I request…every week!

Go HERE for more links to ‘What We’re Reading’!

What are you reading this month?

Happy Reading!

That's too bad and weird too, that her other books were so disappointing. But you're right, there are so many other good books.

Happy reading, Cindy

I am just like you, I love to discover an author I like and find she or he has quite a few more books.
I bought one of Radish's books (about the band of women walking) and didn't care for it, so haven't tried her others.
My recent wonderful recommendation is Emma by Jane Austen. Emma is a fabulous & flawed yet good hearted main character. Have you read it?

I love a good happy book like this. I will look for it. When it starts getting cooler that is when I love to curl with a good book. xo,

wow thats really something because I read that one also,, loved it but did not like the other two I found at our library,, great minds must think alike. But I agree, the first was a light hearted book, easy reading, great characters, the other two,, not my taste.

I saw you and your hubby last week pulling into the library road off of 25. I was sitting at the light, leaving Lulu's after picking up a check for my sales there! I almost turned around and followed you to the library...but I had to get home...
Hugs,,

Thanks so much for linking-up! It is disappointing when you find a book, love it, and then realize that the author's books just aren't as good as the original one.

Well at least you didn't waste your time or money on the other books! This one does sound fun though. :)

Wearing another hat today and as promised calling by as another participant in the What We Are Reading Linky Party. I have never heard of this author but from your review it sounds like except for this one title I maybe have not missed much.
