Take time to DECORATE...of course!

I love getting back to Florida and ‘playing house’!

When we leave for a few months at a time, I like to put things away, or cover things up! It keeps the dust off things and if things are put away, I can start fresh and change things up a bit!

I took the time to put things back on my dresser today

and I’m sure I’ll be ‘tweaking’ things in the next few days.

I told my girlfriend, Ricki Jill that she inspired me to try a different runner on my dresser.

DSCN7012

It’s a brown wickery runner...from Pier 1 Imports.

I would still like to make something else but this looks nice for Fall!

My beautiful jewelry, hand made by my girlfriend, Della

from Del’s Shells is out and ready to wear!

Here’s something I made awhile back that I wanted to share!

I can’t wait to get back to crafting!

Welcome back! I love all the pretty stuff, but I swear I live in the dustiest house on earth. When the neighbors get together we compare notes and we all have the same dust problem. I think it's the train that devides our little town and all those rockets going off across the river. So my dust catchers are limited. But that doesn't keep me from admiring yours!!~Ames :)

Hello Diane

The runner is very complimentary to your display of beautiful jewellery and those vintage purses are delightful.

What fun to have two homes. I would have one completely different from the other and enjoy as much as you do tweaking all the little details. Enjoy your stay! Elizabeth

Good to have you back blogging from the sunshine state!!! I'll be needing lots of sunshine (and warmth)... to get me thru the New England winter.

It must be fun to have two homes, Diane. Double the decorating and double the places to enjoy around town. We had a chilly weekend so the fall waether arrived early here.
