I woke up in a new world this morning!

My Dad used to tease me and say that I woke up in a new world every day! I think it had a little hidden meaning! heehee!

But today I DID wake up in a different part of the country!

We traveled to the mountains of Western North Carolina to enjoy the last of the pretty Fall leaves and the cool weather!

Our first stop this morning was a drive over to our house.

We’ve moved into a condo

but we still own a house here, too.

Let’s walk around back….

This is a huge Butternut tree!

And a pretty maple out by the shed.

I walked all around taking photos in the cool morning temps!

We even saw a hawk when we drove into the driveway but I missed that pic!

Then we went to our favorite restaurant, Papa’s and Beer!

Now it’s time to read my emails…again…

and spend a little time visiting!

Give me a few days to get caught up!

Remember…I woke up in a new world today!

Do you think he meant that as a compliment?

I sure do miss my Dad…especially in the Fall!

Enjoy your day!

NC is one of the prettiest states all year round. My husband's cousin use to live in the western part of the state on a hillside, overlooking the beautiful mountains. God is the ultimate artist. His creation of the leaves in fall are awesome!

My what beautiful colors your world has. It just doesn't get much prettier than that. I think the creator was so loving to give us beautiful things to enjoy in each season. It seems our colors were slow turning but we now have beautiful golden color in our backyard with a little orange coming along. Enjoy all the fall beauty!------ Shannon

And here I thought you were safe and sound in Florida living right on the beach! I am sort of lost. And it is probably my own fault. I have a terrible time getting around!
so..I was wondering, since I LOVE houses..when do we get to peek inside?? :)
Does it snow there? I know very little about that part of the country. I did live in northern Florida...so know a bit about that state...but...that's about it.
And Maine, but very little about there either.
Did you move?? I mean away from the beach?? Goodness...you wouldn't do that would you?
:)
Hugs,
Mona
