A Carolina Blue Sky

There’s just something about the shade of baby blue here in North Carolina that makes the trees look even better. (all of these were taken at Kate’s Park and none were altered or enhanced)

We are losing a lot of the brilliant color now…

but when I went to the library yesterday…

I walked over to Kate’s Park to take these photos.

The church is across the way and

every direction you look you see beauty!

I hope you are enjoying the lingering colors of Autumn at your house!

I know what you mean about the skies here. They are just gorgeous, the color is so vivid you could just look up all day. Have a great day.

Beautiful pictures and sky! One time we were at the beach and some younger people came by and one guy said "What a freaking blue sky!" We thought that was so funny, so my husband and I always say that when the sky is so pretty.

I agree with you on those Carolina blue skies. A beautiful color and paired with the autumn leaves ... GORGEOUS!
My weekend plans are to work out in my garden cutting down the perennials and tidying up for the winter. Also hope to get out and see a movie.
Have a happy weekend.

So lovely... I'm going to visit a friend tomorrow and we are going to get a psychic reading. I've never had one and I'm trying to learn to read tea leaves so I think it will be fun and informative!

Such beautiful foliage! Fall is half over here. Such a disappointing season for colors. It's been mostly dull yellows and browns. We're just going to rest around the house this weekend. Nothing exciting going on here!

It's interesting to think that I thought there was something about our BC blue sky that made the colors so vivid. Looks like we are all blessed with beauty this week.

Beautiful colours, as I have told you previously we can't see anything like this in Sardinia, basically from green leaves we get empty branches before we even notice the leaves fell off the trees!
Beautiful pictures, you're so good at capturing these wonderful sights on your camera!
Love,
Annalisa
