Color Coordinated Thrifting!

I found this precious little tea cup and saucer at my favorite thrift store!

DSCN9385

So perfect...without even a chip!

DSCN9388

Do you think it looks nice on this tablecloth?

DSCN9389

Yes?

DSCN9387

Hhhhmmmm.....this isn’t a tablecloth but the top I was wearing when I shopped! heehee!

DSCN9384

I came home and washed my little cup and sat down with it, put my glasses on to read the bottom and looked down and realized my top perfectly matched the tea set! (It says Winterling Kirchenlamitz Bavaria on the bottom)

I’m good...but I didn’t know I was THIS good! haha!

And look at all the little wooden ornies I found in a bin full of junk...I mean treasures!

DSCN9391

The tiny basket and container were part of the deal, too.

(I’ve turned the basket around to the pretty side now!)

 DSCN9398

I also got three other little Christmas treasures that I’ll save for another day!

It was half price day at the Thrift store so my bill rang up to $2.07 for everything!!!

Oh, what FUN!

I’m linking to these fun parties!

I’m joining....Vintage Thingie Thursday

and Time Travel Thursday

and Club G.W. No. 15

and Thrifty Things Friday!

and Treasure Hunt Thursday!

and Thursday’s Favorite Things!

I’m linking to Honey’s Potpourri Party, too!

I love Christmas thrifting, don’t you?

(and wearing tops that match my finds! lol)

Your teacup is lovely and how funny that is matches your top. Love all those little wooden ornaments. I've been trying to find some to put on a tree for my new Grandson. I might have to go thrifting again! hugs, Linda

Your little bird caught my eye- I have a bunch of them on my tree. Different sizes, too. I wish I had thrift stores to go through. In an old town like this, you'd think there would be an overload of them. Oh well.
Thanks for the post.

You scored big time! Looks like I'm not finding anything great at the thrift stores lately, but I haven't spent as much time there, either. Can't wait to see what else you found!

Maybe you are drawn to the colors you wear? It's a nice tea cup and the little wooden ornies are as cute as can be!
Say, does the tea taste better in that little tea cup? LOL. Someone once told me at one of those in home crystal parties that orange juice taste better when you drink it from crystal. Ha!~Ames

Gotta love the thrift store finds.
Those little ornies are perfect.
The teacup is beautiful, and what
luck it's Bavarian china!

What neat treasures! All of that would cost at least 10 times that here. We have the worst thrift stores and they charge outrageous prices.

You have such good luck at Thrift stores, Diane! I may get to hit a few tomorrow myself. I'm off work and the hubs and I will be out running errands. If time permits we're going to make a couple of stops. Wish me luck!
