My “Word” for 2012

I’ve given it a lot of thought and even looked back in my journals to see what I’ve chosen for the past few years.  I know it sets the mood for the whole year! Last year I chose Serenity!

So even though I can think of a lot of beautiful words, I’ve decided it is my year for “Create”!

I would like to create a home that is more comfortable and easier to take care of.

I would like to create a healthier lifestyle.

When I look at all of my sewing stash and art supplies, I know I want do more ‘creating’ artistically this year.

And I would like to create a sense of peace and harmony at home and on my blog.

This is the perfect word for me this year…

Hi Miss Lavender Dreams,

Well, I think LuLu & Flora's word for the new year is "annoy" and they are off to a good start.

My word......yes, I think I agree with you "create". I think Mom & I are both going to work on creating this year. She is off to a good start - busy creating little Primitive Cook Cutter Animals. And she is making them smell like cloves and cinnamon. I am helping her - of course.

Hugs,
Prudence

Love your 'word' create. That leaves a wide world of avenues to pursue. Your pictures are superb.

My word was GIVING, more than I do. I need to expand this avenue for myself.

Have an awesome week ~

So far my word for this year would

That's a wonderful word and it will be fun to experiment with your photography and other crafts. I chose "Fitness" and since it's impossible to walk outside these days with the temperature at -35 today and the windchill at -40, I'm getting exercise quilting. My design "wall" is the floor and so I do a lot of bending and stretching when I pick up the pieces to sew! Have a great week!

Hi Diane!
I am chuckling to myself, your word "CREATE" has been the theme of my life, I think! what I need this year is a word like "slow-down", "organize", "simplify"...because I seem to always be in creative clutter and chaos!
I think you will do wonderful things with your "create"! have a good year! [I've seen lots of creativity going on here already!]

Hi Diane,

We've chosen the same word! I thought about it for some time before the new year and that's what I came up with. So many meanings in that one simple word.
