Just a little fun around the house!

I take photos of just about everything now that I’m a blogger! So here are a few from the past few days in no particular order! Just a few of the fun happenings at the Lavender Cottage!

DSCN0661

I ordered some bracelets from Shanti and even the package was FUN!

DSCN0659

Visit her Etsy store HERE if you want some cute jewelry hand made by Shanti!

DSCN0660

They looked pretty all gift wrapped.

DSCN0663

I only opened one of them (so far) ! I’m saving them for a special occasion! I’m funny like that!

DSCN0664

But here’s how I looked with my ID bracelet on that says, U CAN DREAM 4 EVER !

DSCN0667

I’ll show a close up of my necklace, too! My girlfriend, Della made this shell necklace for me! Isn’t it perfect!

DSCN0667-001

Visit her Etsy store, Del’s Shells HERE!!!

I had a visitor in my doll room a few days ago.

DSCN0675

My best friend’s granddaughter came to see my dolls. She has Chip or Dale on her head…I’ve forgotten which! heehee!

DSCN0678

I gave her a little bunny and she made me a sweet Thank You card. It made my day just to have her visit!

And since this is a hodgepodge of subjects…

Do you think a yellow diet is good for you? I didn’t mean to serve everything in the yellow family last night but when I realized I had….I took a photo to share! Grilled hamburgers with cheddar cheese, grilled crookneck squash, grilled onion slices and yellow corn!

DSCN0798

My giveaway is still going on for a few more days!

Enter HERE !

And please visit Diane’s Dream Designs and let me know what you think of my latest venture! And a special thanks to everyone who ordered this week!

Everything is IN THE MAIL! ♥♥♥

Diane, You have on sandals and I have on 2 pairs of socks! Sorry...I got sidetracked, you were pointing out your bracelet and necklace, both of which I really like. I like ordering online too, it's fun to get the packages in the mail and savor opening them.

Your little friend has on Dale. Someone once told me to remember it like this - Chip (as in chocolate chip brown) not that it really matters!!! Just in case you ever need that useless information in a trivia contest.

I see you are wearing your jewel box shell (aka spiny oyster)! It really stands out against your blue top.

What fun jewelery. Your dinner looks especially yummy. We grilled last night too. I guess our orange sweet potatoes matched our hamburgers (somewhat). How nice that you had little visitor come to your doll room. I'm sure she enjoyed seeing all your special dolls. Have a great week!

No. #8 Eyelet Ribbons! Boy, was that a hard choice to make, deciding between your # 6 Vintage Frills, and your # 8, but I'm goin' with the # 8!

So sweet to share your dolls with a little girl. She must have been delighted! I used to make porcelain dolls, when my children were little.
I like your clever lighthouse wall painting!
You are funny! Sometimes dinner turns out monochromatic! It's all good and tasty!
I like your positive attitude! I am your newest follower. Be blessed! Linda

Your 'yellow' diet looks delicious! I've done that before, accidentally serving all one color and not realizing 'til it's all served up.

Nice jewelery and lovely photo of you too.
Thank you so much for visiting and for your sweet comments. I think it's lovely of you to watch out for a Black Beauty book, I don't mind when it was from really. It's just a little of my Childhood memories slipping into my mind this week when I was cleaning out some cupboards and found my ABC book.

Lovely pics!! btw your best friend's granddaughter has Dale on her head.. Dale has a big red nose and his two prominent buck teeth exposed while Chip has a small black nose (it looks a bit like a chocolate "Chip" as a way to help people remember who is who) and two centered protruding teeth.. hehe..
