Congrats to Kel!

We see a few turkeys on this side of town too. They used to nest in a tree over here next to the road, but the tree was torn out to widen the road. I sure hope they didn't go too far.

Love the Tom with his feathers splayed. Reminds me of the one my dad had :)

Wow the turkey is beautiful. We have some here, but I've never seen them fan their feathers like that! Received my purchase - it's adorable and what a nice surprise inside! Thank you!

We have wild turkeys here but I've never seen a Tom turkey like that one. It is quite beautiful. Congrats to your winner. Thanks so much for your kind words concerning my Grandmother. The family knew that she wanted me to have her beloved poodle so I brought her home with me yesterday after the funeral. It sounds like a zoo around here with three other dogs getting to know her. Holly is pleased to have another friend. The two doxies are not so sure yet. I'm sure all will work out fine. Sure hope you are having a good week. I will check back to see what you are up to.---------Shannon

Congats to Kel! What a Tom you have there showing off! We had a flock of 23 all ranging from 'babies to moms and dads' coming across our place to get to the lake. It was quite a sight and NO I had no camera with me!

Wow, great pictures of the turkeys. They're quite different from those scraggily turkey vultures we have.
I did see a real turkey the other day though.
Hugs,
Susan
