Let’s find a warm spot!

We went to the North Carolina Arboretum today.

Yes....that’s ME in a coat! I don’t think I’ve worn a coat ALL winter but I had one on today.

It was in the 50s with a strong wind...a cold wind! (and yes, I hear you laughing at me Shannon!)

So let’s go inside the greenhouse.

The flowers were gorgeous in there

and it was warm!

We ate leftovers tonight! I don’t want Vee to think I ate everything on my plate at Papa’s and Beer! heehee!

There are so many dogwoods blooming but no redbuds yet. Laura showed beautiful photos of some today on her post HERE !

Isn’t it fun to have blog buddies that you think of everywhere you go?

Are all of my blog buddies staying warm today?

I'd take 50's and windy today! Last night I sat out at our son's baseball game - it was 42, windy and snowing! I'm still trying to warm up. ~Ann

The flowers are beautiful!!.. It's cold here today in South Carolina. We are supposed to have frost tonight and tomorrow night!.. I just bought some pretty flowers to plant in my pots on my front deck but now they are sitting in my living room so they don't die from the cold..Strange weather so far this year..

It went down to 26 here last night. BRRRR!!! What happened to the hot weather. Love your photos, especially the one of you in the coat. :)

Thanks so much for the mention.

I think that's the first time I've ever "seen" you in a coat!... it's just starting to warm up here, after an unseasonably warm winter and beginning of spring, we are having a cold chilly one after all.

I'm chuckling to myself seeing you in a coat. ;-) The flowers are beautiful, especially the foxgloves

Glorious pics. Seeing you in a coat, does bring a smile to my face. I'll gladly load you one of mine. We have a freeze warning issued tonight. Brrrr.

Wow. This cold is dipping way down there, isn't it?! Nasty old cold. Well, it certainly is beautiful at the Arboretum. You had enough food on that plate to have leftovers for a week! =D

Another beautiful place discovered name mate! And speaking of being warm, I live in a country where we are beating the scorching heat of the sun. It's a hot hot hot summer here in our place :)

I don't blame you, I would wear a coat too. Although, I am not really a coat kind of girl. Usually a light jacket or sweater. Love the Foxgloves, that is one of my favorite flowers.

It is unusually cold and windy here in NY as well. I had put away all my flannel shirts and had to get some out again! Looks like you are having a great time! A change of scenery is always nice.

Such beautiful flowers! I love the very first picture.

It's sunny here today but chilly. Yesterday it rained and supposed to get more tomorrow. Here in my part of Southern CA. We never have anything too earth shattering regarding the weather. We need more rain. Never enough for me.

Hey....50 degrees and windy?! You bet I'd be wearing a coat, too! I'd also be wearing a sweatshirt or sweater in even warmer temps...if it was REALLY windy! :) Beautiful photos! (and I hardly wore a coat this winter...and I live in the Midwest! Wonderfully warm winter!)

What a fun trip! I LOVE that gargoyle! I have a small one in one of my flower beds, that one would be great there too! Maybe I'll take a picture of Gary, (that's what I named him), and post him on my blog soon. He doesn't have magnificent wings like this one though... perhaps his haven't grown in yet :)
