More Condo Fun!

One thing nice about having another home is coming back to some of your favorite things after being gone for awhile. Everything seems new and interesting.

Also I am still working on my new Net Book and learning how to use it. Today I tried PicMonkey to edit a few photos. Brenda at the Cozy Little House mentioned in on her blog HERE so I decided to play around with these pics.

The bunnies are changed using Yester-Color....

and the mountains have a shadow and frame around them. (I took this photo a few minutes ago!)

We ate at Papa’s and Beer today...

that was on our ‘to do’ list!

OH MY! It was WONDERFUL!

Hubby had chicken fajitas and I just had a salad! heehee! A warm fajita salad with chicken and avocado...oh and a cheese enchilada on the side! lol And don’t even look at all the salsa, bean dip and is that a beer for lunch? OH MY!

The temps feel cool to me but I’m enjoying every minute of our time here! I love sitting in my recliner and looking at the Blue Ridge Mts, especially at sunset!

I’m joining the party at Cozy Home Scenes !

Have you used PicMonkey yet?

Do you have a favorite photo editing tool that you would recommend?

Photoscape and iPiccy are the two I'm working with. I like PicMonkey, too, though I've not seen a need to use it. Perhaps if the final two come up with an interesting way to make a collage...

Say, that's a lot on your plate, you little wee one, you! ☺

Are you in the mountains for a few weeks or just a quick getaway?

Yummy food. I've been having fun experimenting with all kinds of photo editing programs while on leave from work. Pic monkey is fun. I've also been playing with http://fotoflexer.com/

Enjoy your time away.

It does make me miss the mountains when I see yours. I grew up in the mts. of PA. We could see seven counties from our farm. It sounds like you had a wonderful day. I sooo need to learn how to use Picmonkey. xo Diana

Sounds like you are having a great time and eating pretty good too. We are having cooler weather here in Florida, in the 70s daytime and 40's at night. Enjoy your vacation!

Your lunch looks so yummy! And your pics are awesome! I'll have to check out picmonkey.

It's been mid 80's during the day where I am, and even hit the low 90's last week. The little humidity we had is gone, but I am sure it won't be much longer til it's back.

Enjoy the mountains! Your view is so beautiful!

HUGS!

Your lunch looks so yummy, Diane, that now I have a hankering for Mexican food!

I only use Picasa to edit my photos. They added a lot of PicNik functions so it's improved a bit. I just wish it had more collage options. I will have to look at Pic Monkey some time soon

Yesterday I tried out PicMonkey after reading about it on Brenda's blog. I didn't try adding any of the photos to a post, but keeping it in mind for the next time. I have never used any program for my photos, but have wanted to do the signature water mark for copyright purposes. Sounds like you are having a good time traveling and reacquainting yourself with your second home. It is like a new adventure when you walk in the door. How on earth do you manage to keep 2 houses clean? Heavens, I have a hard time just managing 1, lol.....

You are so funny about the weather! When I was in college, there were several girls from Florida living on my dorm floor. It would be literally 50 degrees outside with them wearing Long Johns a t-shirt, turtleneck, a sweater, flannel lined overalls, 2 pairs of wool socks and lined boots, with a big parka over it all.

I looked at them and felt hot. Yet even with dressing like they were heading for the tundra, they were still freezing. Go figure!

Your meal looks good. Just tell yourself "vacation calories" don't count! *big smile*

For free photo editing, I've been using PicMonkey lately and enjoy it too, though I haven't had time to play with it like I probably should.

Thanks for dropping by my party this week. It's always nice when friends stop by to say hello. Have a great day!

I am a Picassa girl through and through...been using it for 5 years now ever since I discovered it.

I use it for blogging, when I am doing some more advanced photo editing I will use LR and PSE...but then I really have to concentrate, LOL.

The reason I love Picassa is that I don't have to think, I can just whip out those photos.

Oh those meals look so good, now I am hungry, and it's only quarter to 7 in the morning...

I love Picmonkey. Very easy to use. After learning that I needed to be resizing my photos, I started using it and love it.

I just started using Pic Monkey. I like it but when adding text I find it comes out way too small or big. I think I just need to use it a little more.

I haven't used the yester- color yet but think I will like it.

I love Mexican cuisine too! It doesn't always love me though so don't have it often.
