An Easy Drink Recipe and the WINNER!

It’s nice to have sweet refreshing drinks for the summer time.

I know I’ve said it many times before...I can’t eat sugar. I even have to be careful eating too much fruit and I rarely drink juice because of the concentrated natural sugar.

But here’s a quick and easy drink and it’s HEALTHY, too!

I buy these fruit smoothie drinks in the refrigerated section of our favorite grocery store, Publix.

I mix 1/4 of this container ...'C Monster’, Citrus C with Diet Seven Up. I get the wonderful fruity flavor and the fizz from the soda and it’s less than 60 calories (using the 1/4 bottle per drink). And I consider this a treat...I don’t have it every day!

And now the WINNER for the Eco Natural Soap Giveaway is.....

Dorothy from Hensrule !

Congrats Dorothy!

(I used random.org to get the winning number)

And thanks to Eco Natural Soap for this fabulous giveaway! They still have FREE shipping, too! I LOVE free shipping! And we all love your wonderful products! I carry this one everywhere I go!

We’re enjoying our summer in Florida! Do you have any refreshing drinks you like to have with the temps climb?

Enjoy your weekend!

Sounds like a nice drink! I'm on a diet root beer kick right now, LOL. I go through phases! We're finally going to get a Publix store in town later on this year. We'll have to see whether we'll split up the majority of our shopping between Krogers and Publix.

Congratulations to the lucky winner!

Congratulations to Dorothy! I'm still wanting to try that bug repellent - I guess I'm going to have to order me some. Thanks for the tip on the drink - I've added the ingredients to my grocery list. I do not do well with sugar either. ~Ann

I just drink morning coffee, water thoughout the day, and my evening glass of white wine. But Bill would like this drink. Apparently Debby didn't do you any damage -- that's good. (Hope she was the first last and only one of the season.)

This sounds like a refreshing drink for summer. I'm not a big fan of diet soda since I don't like the taste, but I know how bad regular soft drinks are with all the sugar. This sounds like the perfect alternative to have it both ways. Thanks for sharing your great recipe!

Sounds delicious to me!! I've been known to put my orange juice in my diet rite. I can't say I know anyone else who likes this, besides me. I'm a little strange I guess.

Hi Diane,

Sounds like a great drink, especially to keep you cool in summer.
I often make homemade ginger beer in summer which is really refreshing.
I also drink a lot of water too.

Enjoy your weekend in the sun

I love Odwalla. I always take the C Monster whenever I feel a cold coming on, and it knocks it right off. I bet it's great the way you mix it!
