Summertime! My favorite season!

Oh how I love summertime and it’s especially beautiful here in Florida this year!

*We’ve had some little showers that just pop up and don’t last long. But they leave us with ‘not as hot’ temps and lush green surroundings!

A quick photo of Sholom Park...

PMDSCN2852

and the flowers we are enjoying as we begin the Summer season!

My regular readers are going to feel like they LIVE in Sholom Park but what better place to walk, get some exercise....and take a few photos, too!

I’m joining Mary for Mosaic Monday,

and Diane for Beautiful Sunday

and Sunny Simple Sunday !

Please stop back by tomorrow

for a GIVEAWAY! ; )

*Update on Central Florida...the pop up showers we had during the week have changed into a steady downpour all day today. We have a few gusty winds and rain. Please pray that we don’t get anything worse! Thanks!

How pretty! I'd say that you're getting drenched right now with the storm passing over Florida! Hope you stay dry and safe.

Hi Diane,
Fine by me, you can take me for a walk in that park every day if you like! It's a beautiful Sunday here too, we're going to Florala junkin and maybe for a swim! I'll be half in Florida and half in Ala.!!

You are so fortunate to have such a gorgeous place to take your walks. I take mine just winding in our neighborhood but I enjoy all the gardens. Wish we would get some summer rains. Does not happen here though. Would be very unusual. Thanks so much for sharing with all of us and have a wonderful week ahead.

Your park is lovely and very much like the Florida I remember.

It is so beautiful there! I've been to Florida once, during July, and it was so humid and hot! It is easy to tolerate the humidity if you are on the beach, though. I recall flying overhead and noting the number of pools below. It seemed like everyone had one! It is a beautiful state indeed!

WE had the same quick shower--that is if you are in NC now ...I think there is more than a shower in FL. Your mosaic is very nice, and who could tire of photos like that?

We've had rain for 4 days over here in SWFL! Today was definitely the worst of it. I dread having to drive to work in this weather tomorrow. I'm a new follower :)

I love the Sholom Park name mate! It's beautiful and the weather is perfect for that stroll or jogging. I pray that the weather will be better so that you'll be able to see and share more beautiful places.

Thank you again for linking up. Thank you for not leaving me :)

Wishing you a great week ahead!

Hi Diane, I always love how everything looks after a freshly fallen rain. The trees with the moss are so beautiful. I can't believe it is summer already. How quickly Spring turns to summer. Lovely summer blooms in your mosaic.

Beautiful pictures! When hubby retires we will have to visit Florida for sure. I hope the state doesn't get hit too hard with the possible storms that might come your way.

Take care my friend,

Pat

The mosaic is very pretty and I can see myself walking in that beautiful park. Hope the weather doesn't get too severe where you are. Stay safe!

Such a lush and tranquil looking park. We got a much needed rain today and I know how you can have a storm kick up all of a sudden down there.
Hopefully things will remain calm.

We need rain desperately, it got up to 107 here in Colorado today! We have a couple terrible fires raging out of control right now. We are praying for some rain! Your park pictures are beautiful!

What a beautiful pathway for walking. I love the huge tree hanging over top. Hopefully the rains have eased and nothing serious has occurred. Have a good week, Diane.

Thanks for sharing your walks thru the park. What a pretty place to walk and relax.
Stay safe in the storms.
Thanks for stopping by and nice comment on my courtyard. The flower beds need work, but to hot - suppose to be 100 today.
